Re: B Section - 2011

You guys have no injuries yet, see how you go when you do, you will choke when it matters, guarantee it.

There were 6 out yesterday....every club has injuries at this time of year.

Caulfield had a good win against a bloody solid side in Oakleigh. 2 more wins and a finals spot is sown up. 5 more wins and we secure a top 2 position. We have to make it to where it matters first!

11 goals isn't bad for someone who has played in the back pocket all season.

Good to see Caulfield bounce back hard after a minor slip up to the blacks.
They still have to be the ones to beat come finals. Nothing more needs to be said.

StKevs are finding ways to win with injuries, but all clubs have injuries. They are a solid side, but i see OB stealing second spot for the second chance against Caulfield. Are they as good as we say they are, im not sure. Are they just consistantnd thats why they find themselves in second.

You cant not be impressed with OB winning 6 on the trot. They are definately the inform team, and have plenty of depth with their twos killing the competition. Only other game i see them possibly losing, is against The Fielders @Caulfield. But can we get a measure of the two sides with recent games played against Uni Blacks??

You would have to put Uni Blacks as your final spot in the 4. They are inconsistant, but when the rock up switched on, they can obviously challenge any side. They will keep knocking off the teams below them and therefore will do enough to make finals. They will only need to be switched on for 3 weeks this year to steal this premiership. Can do it.

I believe this is a very accurate picture of how B Grade will turn out.
St.K will be the most likely (still very slim) to drop out. Injuries and possible suspensions, will see the stocks reduced further.

If OI can recapture some form, they will trouble Caul, but probably not OB.

Cheers

Accurate my arse. SKOB have played 45 in the seniors this year and still sit second. No Dowd, Simpson, Chivers, Keogh, Marchesani, Giansiracusa's plus around another dozen of our best side.
Happy to be on 30 points, a mighty effort all things considered, can only get stronger from here.

Blacks looking tired, SKOB looking tired as is my tipping last round. Caulfield youngsters attended to by UB last week. Expect Caulfield / Old Brighton one / two. No one else good enough to threaten these two now. 3rd and 4th anyone's guess but SKOB and UB have the runs on the board.

What gives big B. You have been down playing the Skobs all year. Touting relegation over finals. Then someone says they WILL make finals but may/unlikely miss and you hark up. Seems inconsistent with your year long message. Looking forward to seeing you tip Skobs all games from now on with all things getting stronger mantra.

Occy, not sure I ever said we were in the relegation zone, just pointing out that 30 points is a good result thus far, its a long 7 weeks to come, anything can happen. Just happy to have avoided relegation, next aim is a spot in the top 4.
OB have certainly stepped it up, looks like Oakleigh, OI, and Bernies are safe and Marcellin and Hampton gone. In reality only 6 games left as most except SKOB and OI will play Hampton, a certain victory it seems each week.
So Marcellin have to win 3 of those 6 and hope one of the others above doesnt win any, which would seem unlikely.
