Max, how much did you pay the boys at Dartfish - the Old Ivanhoe v Oakleigh game is first up - an evening full of "self-pleasuring" I would imagine.;):D;)

HBP. Yes true, 1st win at Kilmore since 1963.

Beat them in 1985, when Billy Brownless kicked 11.

Future could be rosey in a few years time.
85 was it? Can't remember that far back, was in year 9 playing under 15's!! Who was captain that year?

If you are talking about the AGSV competition, ACK look to be a shadow of the powerhouse they once were and will be dwindling down the bottom of the pack this season. Sad to see really

Ray Carroll's departure causing this?

OTP I would say that would be a reasonable explanation, but can't be sure what is going on down at Kilmore.

Max I wouldn't say so still not a large amount of scholarships given at other schools, obviously a few floating around the AGSV of course, with PEGS buying their side, but would be interested too see what's happened down there.

One of the other thoughts around the decline is that ACK have seen the impact of a full co-ed system at the school have a significant impact on its AFL program, as spoken about by Father Ray in his final years.

That being said - they are not the only school system dealing with the change to co-ed policy from previous all male.

Chump.

SO RAy Carroll is all of a sudden 'Father' Ray? Haha, he isn't he even a brother, he is just a regular Mr.

FWIW, take this discussion to the school boards please, who cares about a school that should be part of the ACC, but lives amongst the semi elite in the AGS.

Blacks on track to play Skevs in a blockbuster of epic proportions, Beauy are pretenders and will fall over soon.

Agree - back to the school boards for this stuff but before we do a final word. ACC schools don’t offer scholarships for having the ability to kick a football and regularly have the cleaners put through them by the ‘elite’ schools (or even the semi elite!) So on that basis Assumption are where they belong, at least in so far as football competition goes. A few schools now seem to be waking up to the perception that prestige is obtained through sports results and are now, surprise, surprise, more interested in learning outcomes and ENTER scores. What a strange concept for a school.

Thank God for districts sides in this comp. Never heard of so much crap on a footy blog. WAS there any footy played on Weekend:confused:

My Dear West (or should I call you Damien?)
This is more than just a little spooky.........
That was post number 666 and you opened up with "Thank God"
Shame you couldn't throw in references to AJAX and also SKOB to really confuse us all.

Looks like The Devil's work to me.

I believe it was Chris Taylor. He kicked 10 that day.

Ended playing 1 games Fitzroy.

Then played for OI and Uni Blues
Billy Brownless did play but you are correct, Chris Taylor kicked 10 but he didn't play for Old Ivanhoe but Ivanhoe.

Sounds like crap or they had a pre planned indoor session. Don't write them off yet, they towelled us up last year at TH King, are a very good team when they are up and going, especially one M Harold!

Off the ball incident that left the OI player with many facial injuries.

Beaumaris must be disappointed in his actions, considering they were leading by 80 points at the time.

It has been handled by the tribunal, and we now moved forward to next week.

Xxxxx - that's all my figures crossed hoping that he rumors are true. Would be a very lucky break. Don't deserve it, but rules are rules and we would accept he points, quietly.

Judge Max

I have a mate who broke his jaw last week playing in EDFL was just wondering how OI managed to get your bloke with "many facial injuries" back after only missing one week?

They breed them tough out at the Lodge - he got "clocked" late in Q3 and took to the field at the start of Q4, strapped up.

Maybe the boys who play VAFA are tougher than those who play EDFL:D.

The only one who can answer this is the player himself.

The time it took him to get back from his injury does not diminish the severity of the hit and the VAFA's response to the said hit.

yep, truly amazing considering a "medical expert" stood up in front of the "tribunal" and swore that he would miss 5-6 weeks which no doubt played a part in determining Petering's penalty.

Sticks, you seem to be all over this topic - is it true that Beaumaris pleaded their charged player's innocence to the extent of him not being involved in the fracas?
