any danger at all for some football related input or commentary as opposed to your pathetic dribble about the definition of "sandbelt courses"?

What about Rah Rah, Ronnie and the others?? - oh no just poor old CC

Obviously the start to the season has taken its told on your humor big fella!

If we want to talk footy how about you step up to the plate and tell us how good Oaks are going. Been smashed first 3 weeks so looks like C Grade beckons for the mighty tri's. Gattor has left a big hole in the club and the on-field events late last year have obviously resonated through to this year in terms of players and supporters.
Then missing out of juniors and a drought of chicken-poo for the oval etc.

So can you step in and talk some footy around all that.

Also how long is Kevin 'denis' Holden going to stay up in the ones? - surely a drop to the magoos may send a message.

Cheers

CC

that's better - least your talking footy now

thanks for your concern but we will be right - 0-4 last year and ended up in finals contention by the second half of the season so we don't hit the panic button like some clubs

also i wouldn't say we have been smashed 3 weeks -were in in front in two of those games for a long way - boys are not far away at all

No problems and thanks for the reply.

Obviously going through cultural and game day changes so hopefully the supporters remain and you guys can stay in the top echelons whilst other clubs have fallen away.

Cheers

Big difference this year..... No gator!!!

Ron, have you got any pearls of wisdom or are you too going to add nothing of credence to this forum?

Huge effort by Maxxy's mob on the weekend, they are no push overs from what I have seen.

Kempo's mob did a number on the Jacka's, they are going to struggle mid year when they head overseas for the Jewish games.

Beauy again strong with Tom Dean in defence and Robbie Cathcart under the packs leading the charge, although Leigh Hendra's return inspired the Tonners.

Oakleigh and OH had a tough encounter by all reports, with Brede (pronouncd Brady) Seccull a beast in the mid field and ex De La player Nicolopolous turning it on in the last quarter.

OM's had a crack before being over run in the second half by SKOB.

Brian, according to the all knowing Scribe, you and I are one and the same, so I suppose I had better agree with everything you say or I will be disagreeing with myself!

Uni Blacks to win flag. Lock this in. Beauy and Skevs obviously looking good early to challenge. Think Blacks are well ahead of the field.

Big call after 3 rounds, nothing like injuries to stuff up a season

Yep, big call - certainly have recruited the best - of the Prem B Teams - Bart, Bede, Will, Jandre, Jake's mate Cooky. Still got some gaps though - 2nd ruck position, CHB may get a bit big on Pitt, backline is brittle, but its early days.

Do you think Beaui will fall or continue there winning streak? even though they have played the three teams that havent won a game yet....they have a good home ground advantage i beleive down at shark park but there young team may be exposed later in the year when the going gets tough

Bad call Occy!!!

It's round 3, here's a couple of recent scores for you to compare the top 3 sides:
Blacks 101 def Oakleigh 72, OH beat Oaks by more on the weekend.
Beauy 112 Oakleigh 35, Beauy a bigger margin than Blacks also.
Blacks 115 OMs 86, SKOB 129 OM's 40, hmm, another bigger margin.

It is certainly shaping as an interesting year but to be forecasting anyone to lock in Blacks or for that matter anyone else is a little extreme.

Remember St Bernards last year?

Great call Occy. Put's ALL the pressure on Black's. But seriously how can you make such a call after 3 games. I'll have some of that stuff your sniffing.:)

I'll buy you the axe, I'll make sure it's blunt. I'm unashamedly a Uni Blacks person and have come here to fight for our cause, whatever that is!!!

Go Blacks you good things!!!!

Speaking of which, Occy, what was Willingham's reason for leaving Old Carey?

Nothing sinister in it, rather wanting to play with some mates. Howgate and Costello are ex grammarians and I guess they didn't want to move to play with big Willy. The blood pumping through the veins of the Costello family is black. As black as that of Razor Ray Wilson, so no surprise that the Blacks be the place where these three mates were destined to play their football together.

Seeing you asked Cosmo

[Just checking the A/B records for 2010/11]

The Seasiders, not happy with being clear enough on the Melee ladder have added another Melee to their score.

Congratulation to Beaumaris - 10 club melees in 2 seasons + 2 games. VAFA record. Rare territory indeed.

Not to be outdone St Bedes and the Krushers stepped up and also have added another melee.
Over to the Brightonians to respond in kind!
