Werribee still decimated and i beleive lost another couple to the VFL this week. And young herbie the latest casualty popping a hammy. Checking the team from round one there are 10 new players or should i say 10 injuries to guys that are walk up starts. Can westy let us no when these guys are due back the talk is alot of long termers. Good luck for this week im sure your blokes will be breathing fire for obvious reasons.

Dont know why you keep asking west. You seem to have all the information yourself.

Will be a very good grand final replay tomorrow and expecting a good turn out. The 19's boys that came up have filled in the missing players spots better than i excpected and have been impressive so far.

I'm tipping Werribee at home by 4 goals

My sentiments exactly
Will be a good test for the boys tomorrow. Great to see the Leaders of the club put so much effort in helping the younger players. Our culture is one of winning regardless of personell. Eveyone who gets a gurnsey must play their part for the club. No difference to any other club except we have a coach that can get the best out of every player.:D

St Kevins (6 goals), - Old Brighton missing Marston.
Oakleigh (2 goals), - based on getting a few players back.
Beaumaris (3 goals) will drop one soon but not this one.
Uni Blacks (4 goals), continue on their merry way.
Werribee (3 goals) - based on getting a few players back.

Hello lads,
Bitterly cold out there tonight.
And the wind...OMG, I think I just saw a kite surfer flaaagh past my balcony, and I'm 3 streets back from the golden mile! Unless its the shiraz playing tricks on me again (started a little earlier than usual today).
Imagine the conditions at Braaahton Beach oval tomorrow? Excuse the play on words, but they'll probably be the only thing that prevents Old Brahton TAFE Old Boys from being blown away. SKOB for me. They are certainly looking good THIS FAR OUT FROM THE FINISHING POST (intentional use of caps).

Ivan from Ivinghow tells me that they are very confident of chalking one up over the Oaks, so i'll go along with him. I had fancied a scoreless draw before he mentioned it at the Melbourne Club this morning.

With this first chill of winter perhaps the sign of an early snow season, who knows what might happen at the Junction? Might be a good crowd since the Dees are playing tonight, though one suspects their supporters may have bought their Buller season's pass already and be heading up for the working bee on the lodge. Despite last week's result, and one eye on the apres-ski activities, OM's will cause an upset here. (Beaumaris getting a little ahead of themselves for mine - they have played the 3 bottom sides whilst OM's have played 3 of top 4 - SKOB, Blacks and OH).

Blacks will win because they are jolly good, and because it's at their home ground. For most of the market gardeners I suspect it'll be a first trip to university - its a long way from Dingley via Keysborough - they're much better on their home turf. Big naght at the pavvy.

Wow. The Jackas venture down the highway. It's a very long trip, one that I suspect Peter Slipper might describe as "city to suburbs" on the cab charge (manual) docket. And since we're playing with politics, the score might just be as big as Craig Thompson's AMEX statement - Werribee's way I am afraid for the Smorgonettes.

Must run. Fire's on and sitting here in the smoking jacket and slip slips with a cigar and cognac about to watch the Dees on the tellie. Thats the joy of MCC membership I guess, no need to fork out for a membership to the footy club for a ticket I'll likely never use when I can watch them from the chesterfield. Go Dees! Go!

Hoo Roo.

We're back. :)

Not sure if a 2 goal triumph against a winless side at home means you're back.

As an old flame used to say to me though, 'Wombat, it wasn't pretty, but you got the job done'

Speaking of being back, the Wombat has arrived back after an overseas hiatus and notices that his mantle has been taken by the affable yet eloquent RahRah.

Is there room for two?
