7 finals in 8. 1 flag, 1 runner up to xavs, 3 prelims.

Skobs can't expect to get up without a spine. Couldn't handle the big forwards over last few weeks. Manic handball can only go so far.

Blacks to win well next week and to consolidate in premier next year.
I'm a rap for UB too but the big ground at EP will suit the Sharks pace. Won't be that easy.

Fantastic to see Beaumaris in A Grade after 20 years climbing the grades. Strong well run club with a fantastic supporter base. Also well done to Fitzroy on being promoted to B Grade next year. A few years ago it looked like they were stagnating but full credit to them they have cranked it up another level. Another club with a very strong and loyal supporter base. This can only be good for the Ammos as they need more suburban clubs up there competing with the elites.

Couldn't agree more

Have to agree. Great for the competition. A few years back it was Werribee or even Oakleigh who looked likely to be the clubs flying the District flag in ‘A’ grade. Those clubs have taken a backward step while Beaumaris have thrived. A potential juggernaut. Massive junior program and have had 2 x U19 teams for several years now. Already have some ready-made ‘rivalries’ in Premier section.

The Beauy method of attracting the best kids to play Premier 19's in the last four years have been a significant driver for them coming up the grades. They will better equiped to stay up in Premier Section with their numbers of kids in the clubs 19's programs. Well Done to Beauy making it to Premier Section !

Ok, i thought you were mentioning it in the context of his coaching, which was being questioned not his playing record.
He underachieved at Blues, they list the unlosable GF to OX, those UB team were super teams a few years ago. He also used to carry on like a pork chop in the coaches box, filthy language and aggressive towards his players, I wouldn't have him at my club if he offered to coach for free. Funnily enough he is a nice fellow if you meet him at a game, maybe white line fever gets the better of him?
Will be interesting to see if he will coach Caulfield, I understand that Lawrence will not be missed at that club.
Great year ahead next year, should be a ripper!

Left Caulfield with players to coach UBlues. Caulfield were none to pleased (from what I've heard).
Time does heal most wounds.

Its taken 6 months, but finally the site has warmed up.

BS, from what I have seen, of the the two going up, only one will stay, and they don't have a beach address. Furthmore, from the two teams coming back, both will push to go back the following year.

I know its a big call from a team that didn't win a game, but from what I have been told they were competitive in most games for three quaters.

Early call for 2013

OT
Caulfiled
OH
St.K

Very early call for 2014

Cauflield
St.K
OI
Beauy

When you play a GF against Xavs, nothing is certain or unlosable.

No clubs have more turnover to their playing lists at the end of the year and during it than Blacks / Blues. Let's hope they can further develop the biggest rivalry in amateur football next season.

He left Caulfield to play with Blues. After retirement he was involved for sometime in other roles before he became a coach. Runner was one. He turned Blues from a rabble under a succession of coaches into a well oiled machine. Anyone who suggests he doesn't know the game is kidding themselves.

I beg your pardon Max, but these predictions seem to omit the young lads from the Grammar School, who only just fell short against the Sharks at Sandringham last week?
Do you anticipate that they will drop away? I really can't see OH going past them. I thought Old Braghton Technical College Old Boys were a bigger threat this yahr, once they got up and going.
Granted, I do have an aversion to the Murrumbeena majentas, but its not all bad seeing Murrumbeena holding onto the middle of the table - means that despite Oakleigh down and Beaumaris up, we'll still have a couple of district sides in B in 2013.
As for those joining us from above...
Surely the Hedgeburners will face life without Rambo for the first time since about 1947 and therefore fall to pieces in 2013?
And I see that Caulfield (or even Caulfiled or Cauflield according to your typo's) will finish Top 2 in 2013 yet stay in B Grade for 2014..........
How very SKOB of them.:D

Harf will keep his job, did an amazing job to finish 2nd given the turn over of players from last year and the number of players he had to play this year. Skob weren't big enough or tough enough to compete in finals, they are crying out for a genuine big ruckman to give plugger more time up forward.

Steve
The big blonde bloke? Can play when not hobbling.
Gee, not a lot of love for Beauy!
Kanis has a poor record, those Blues teams were awesome, should have won two flags.
Blacks recruited every man and his dog this year, how will the Carey turncoats go when they play their old side? Will the SANFL guys stay? Perhaps they need to start recruiting from within the Uni, they only have access to 35,000 students and their relatives, which according to Kanis makes them under resourced compared to SKOB, what a load of shit. They also have Ray Wilson and the head of the MUFC on their side, will go ok next year.
SKOB will be a force in 2 years, will be next to unbeatable, watch it unfold.
Caulfield to double drop, can't go 0-18 and expect to be a power in B, look at Marcellin. OT will rely on old father time or could be headed to C also.

Come off the grass Briza. Just another of your way-off -the-mark posts this year. Bob Down has more credibility.

C'mon Briza you got cleaned-up in every game at the weekend including your unders.

You have a lot to say for someone who has not revealed which club you are associated with, care to let us all know?
Your opinions mean nothing if you are just a keyboard warrior potting clubs and posters from behind your screen.
I agree Brian likes to talk it up, but all he is doing is defending his club, like all of us here who post who have revealed their allegiance.
For what it's worth, OH to be stronger next year and play final, SKOB a bunch of mentally soft individuals who need to harden up when the real heat is on.

Brian, I actually like your enthusiasm. Are the kids from StKevins school, flowing through to the Old Boys? If they do, then they will get some good kids coming through as they have done well in the APS.
What's the story with Carey turncoats? Sorry I'm new.
Well done Beauy, they have done well to progress, but I think Uni will be far too strong.

Big enough and competitive to play the whole season and finish 2nd but not enough to compete in finals....what, they play different teams in the finals....WTF???
