Would be very interesting to see Laurie coaching the current crop!By seasons end they would be the toughest and most resilient team in B grade.Just a classic example of an ordinary/average player becoming a top coach.I particularly liked his application of the CKD principle-that's as in Crush,Kill,DESTROY!Didn't Scotch have a rule that the coach had to be an ex AFL player until recent appointments?
They need to bring back Laurie Aghan!

Not sure mate. Been a long time in C and D. Should stack up pretty well against other teams recently promoted such as Rovers, parky and haileybury. Competed strongly against Blacks today and have some outstanding kids. Possibly missing the 3-4 out and out guns that others might have but will create some serious headaches for opponents through the season.Any thoughts on how monash will go this season?
Beauy and st bedes flag favourites for me. Milne and Schneider will add some serious class up forward.
Not sure Frosty Fuller, Tim Holt or Mark Brady can help them this year Canada? Or the bunch of Old Carey boys like Pete Busse, Matt Angus and Steve Collins? You'd have to think a club that has spent 3 decades straight in A Grade would be a good chance to bounce back up.
Les, what does 'competed strongly' equate too? Was it close or they had an honest crack and were well beaten? Not sure mate. Been a long time in C and D. St Bedes defeated Mazenod quite easily.
That doesn't surprise me. Bedes will be very strong in 2016.

Around 6 goals Brian. 1 or 2 goals a quarter more polished.Les, what does 'competed strongly' equate too? Was it close or they had an honest crack and were well beaten?

Haileybury are definitely too short for mine. Apart from that, I reckon they have done a pretty decent first up job.Who do you reckon are overs/unders
Probably as many times as Trent Dennis-Lane did for Hampton Rovers?Tom Simpkin to line up for Beauy when he isn't playing at Sandy - Not sure how often he'll play but very handy!
Fitzroy will play finals IMO, Old Scotch won't.Who do you reckon are overs/unders
