Dont they have trial by video? Take a look on video. 2nd quarter 21mins to go. Bit of a cheap shot with the elbow. Milne very lucky. The Parky bloke was stiff, he got done in retaliation for the Milne hit, '' as you would '' but Milne should have been in the book for rough conduct at the very least. I think McLaren was also retaliating in the scuffle, so he may have been stiff as well. The game itself was a ripper, and Milne and Beauy's fitness was the only difference in the end. Gallant effort by the Vultures who have some good young blokes coming through, and more to come from the 19's. It should be a concern for Parky that they have failed to run both their games out in the last quarter, so fitness looks an issue.

Can't comment on that incident I went and got lunch. I was told he reaLooked like a nasty hit from Milne on a Parkdale defender that started a small fight? Was he reported or sent off for that incident?

Same tips for meLooking forward to ANZAC weekend matches:
Saturday games:
Hampton V Old Brighton- Should be a walk in the park. Hampton look pretty average. Brighton by 40 points.
Parkdale v Monash - Hard to tip. Monash have had to play the two Premier A teams from last year, however, Parkdale looked better against Beaumaris so I'll tip them by 15 points.
Beaumaris V Haileybury- Hailebury have had a few come from behind wins, however, I think that Beauy will be able to run this game out better than previous opponents. Beauy by 30 points.
Monday games:
St Bedes V Old Scotch- Even though it is at Brindisi, I have to tip the undefeated Scotch. Scotch by 10 points in a thriller.
Fitzroy V AJAX - Fitzroy don't look great, neither do AJAX, but I'll have to go with the team with the points on the board. AJAX by 26 points.
Pretty good game. Looks like holding the ball is out the window in 2016 though.St Bedes in a close one at Brindisi.
Thought it was an okayish game which St Bedes were always going to win.Pretty good game. Looks like holding the ball is out the window in 2016 though.
Thanks mate. Many there?Pretty good game. Looks like holding the ball is out the window in 2016 though.
A fair crowd. The ground makes it seem like there are more there because it is so small. Thanks mate. Many there?
The Jackas had a win in the other game apparently in front of a sizeable crowd. Surprised me as I saw them against Scotch and they looked ordinary.

I found some of the body shapes on both teams somewhat surprising, fair to say a few lads wouldn't have had preseason as their top priority.
Josh Cowan a super player, really impressive, was a class above everyone else on the ground.

New to this league forum. But that's a lot of players rubbed out in one round. I watch the GVFL each week. Lucky to have one suspension a week
It's often longer.
Got to remember there are 7 senior divisions, with top divisions having 3rds as well. Then you have all the clubbies, unders. At a guess without looking...300 teams playing every week?
It is being noted everywhere how bad the umpiring standard isThe Roy boys were very competitive in the first half yesterday. Should have been 2 or 3 goals up at half time. The Cardinals got their act together in the second half and came away comfortable winners in an uninspiring game.
The two take home messages were; the umpiring standard – not just field – has dropped away this year; and the best dimmies are sold at K2.

I've heard it right across the boardNot a problem in the 3 games I've seen. If the players made as few blues as the officiators it would be outstanding footy.
