There is. The Gray brothers and Dylan Jones most prominently.I know our boys will be looking forward to it.Shame Willy not given a home fixture for Rd 1 to unfurl their flag. Assume it will occur Rd 2. Happy to be part of it and should be a cracker.
Three of our better players you have named there, with all involved in the C Grade Premiership and the latter named BOG in the Grand Final, aswell as best and fairest of the club in 2019. Should make for an interesting affair round 2, looking forward to it.

Maybe your right , pity Brian and Doug are not on here anymore , they must have more knowledge of what happened with Jones .
It is indeed a great pity. There is however an ex AFL footballer who follows a D4 club that might have an idea.

Either way they won a back-to-back A grade flags following his departure so don't think he was particuarly missed.

You have an enviable capacity to tactfully hit the target, JJ. Gets me in all sorts when I attempt that path. I dips me lid.:)

Matt Dea to Blacks. Very disappointing for Panthers as they had several discussions for the 2019 season pre being listed at Essendon and again late this year for 2020 season

That’s a tough one Carlton. He slips through the net..and you have to watch him up close twice this year!

No idea what arrangements he had with SKOB. Was sure he left to play for $ in the WRFL for a couple of seasons rather than going straight to Willy.
Jones went to SKOB post his stint at Werribee VFL to play with mates he had from his school days, after being part of the undefeated flag he then left SKOB to play for WRFL Club Spotswood, in which he had mates there also and was closer to home.
Battled a few injuries at Spotswood that never really allowed him to get on the park consistently. Was always going to end up back at CYs given it was the club he started at and who has direct affiliation with the Williamstown Junior Program that Jones grew up playing in.

One of the all time great blokes, who IMO is one of the best Ruckman across the entire VAFA.

Ex AFL footballer..I think not.
Mr Hat follows SKOB as we all know. But he is unlikely to speak out about his side here for the time being.

No Mr Hippster. He played with two AFL clubs and follows a D4 club that plays at the ‘pit’, which all committed VAFA followers know is Elgar Park. It must be true because he said so and we all know that everyone speaks the truth on BF.

I'm sure that the interest in with Premier and SKOB is just a coincidence and when the season proper kicks in we will find him stalking the D4 board.

Did SKOBAFL get him a very good job and he walked out , that's what people there said .

Come on. My namesake may have embellished the truth but dont bring all hats into this.
I cant recall seeing HairHat say he played top level AFL and therein lies the problem.

Funnily enough I played several seasons at two AFL clubs, so your point is a moot one my friend.

No he did. Which is a big LOL as we all know who he is. Play on..

Hello all, I'm a Collegians man but have heard this rumour swirling that Brett Eddy is coming back to the Dairy Bell. Is this just a tall tale or does this one have something to it?

Also, a nice inclusion for De La in Michael Schwab (son of Peter). Played 8 senior games for Collegians this year as a zippy half forward. A terrific young lad and I wish him all the best. I hope that no one on here thinks he will only get a game because his dad is the coach as he can really play.

Dangerous player with a nice turn of foot. I can see him causing havoc down at Waverley Oval inside 50 in 2020.

Eddy could be at Mordialloc with mates

I wish. Last I heard he was on big bucks at Vermont and most unlikely to move.

Young Schwab tore us apart in a game late last year. Was staggered to hear he got dropped the following week when some VFL players returned. Would love to see him at the Bell next year . A very smart player.

footyfan1984 SeaSide Will Willy be putting on a lunch for the round 2 clash with De La? Awfully long way to travel for mere canteen food. De La supporters like to travel and probably like a lunch more.

Also directions to the nearest TAB would be handy, knew the Premier club nearest TAB's like the back of my hand!

Jimmyjack Jordie McKenzie the former Melbourne/North Adelaide (B&F winner) player pulling on the boots for De La this year? Any confirmation of this? Despite his injury woes he'd be a great pick up at this level.
GY – seems you know a lot more than me about the comings and goings. As much I like to talk footy during the off-season I am right out of the loop when it comes to player movements. A few names thrown at me during the spring carnival from those better placed than I. J.Mc not one of those but a player of his calibre would be enourmous. Based on what I was told I am really looking forward to next year. Expect a good showing from the Bellers. Any other snippets you might have heard?

Sorry to butt in here but I have been informed that the Uni Blacks have already ordered their premiership apparel, I’m hoping the boys from the ‘Lost Bell’ can put in a good solid effort.

Never suggested the bellers would be winning a flag Mr Hat, just that they would give a good account of themselves. Why are the Blacks so bullish about their chances next year? Notwithstanding they have secured Matt Dea, the Uni team with the blue shorts and disproportionate number of ordinary blokes seems to be destination of choice at the moment.
