Fitzroy at 0-3 must be a surprise to many.

Far too early for projections but Hampton and Fitzroy would be nervous early doors about their prospects

Honest Match review Round 3. OM v OI

Ground perfect, middle a little muddy, wind blowing to the north.

A great game of football with the Hoes holding on.

After 15 minutes, i was looking like, how far OM, with them kicking 3 goals with the wind. OI countered 3 goals into it. Then a real speecy at the 23.40 minute mark saw OM go into the quarter time break leading.
Ruck infringement free kicks 5.

Second quarter saw Oi kick 7 goals to 3, but a late goal to OM saw the deficit cut to 3 goals.
Ruck infringement free kicks 10.

3rd and 4th quarters we a struggle, with no team able to break free. With Hoes taking the chocolates.
Ruck infringement free kicks 23.

Interestingly OM won 3 of the 4 quarters. Also OM’s handled the shifting cricket pitch better than the Hoes.

Agree Pazza, l've watched Ammo footy since late 70's and the last 15 years since we have been in A, B, C grades l have to say the quality of footy has improved out of sight over that period. The first 3 games l have seen this year (Old Carey games) have been outstanding, it's just a pity only a handful of people are there each week to witness it.
