OGs deserved their win, especially without Sheridan.

We had our chances, but OGs handled the slightly heavy ground better.

It would have been a crime if we had stolen.

Next week, the battle for the minor premiership.

Old Carey v Willy was a classic. Recommend you watch the last quarter, Carey gone for all money in time on, 2 goals down then bang, bang. Ball had hardly been our end.
Willy understandably in shock at the result, their supporters very confident all day.

That’s two weeks running that Willy were in the box seat and blew it.

Sounds like that’s a polite way of saying Willy supporters can stick that one up where the sun don’t shine.
2 weeks in a row for Willy..clutching defeat for the jaws of victory. Had Caulfield beaten until Caulfield went bang, bang, bang, bang. That’s twice the bangs of the panthers.
Did Greg Norman infiltrate the Willy three quarter time huddle? Did Jana Novotna run out some water late in the game?
Anyway..they are now gonski for the finals run.
Caulfield only have to beat Rovers ant home and they are in.
Camberwell, Carey and Geelong in a mighty battle for the last spot.
So many possibilities.
Geelong v Camberwell is huge next week at Como.

Caulfield would want to put some percentage on against Hampton otherwise they are not safe. OT in the last round. It would not be overly strange if both OCs win both their games and Caulfield split them. Then it would come down to percentage for third to fifth. Ogs win this week then Caulfield are safe regardless unless they do something silly against Hampton

I can see OGS winning over the Wellers at home and then a massive game at Carey round 18 where the winner of Carey v Geelong makes the finals (assuming Panthers beat Fitzroy at home next week first up)

Caulfield Grammarians vs Hampton - Just too good.
Old Carey vs Fitzroy - The Panthers just have to win this.
Old Geelong vs Old Camberwell - Line ball call so am sticking with the home team.
Old Trinity vs Old Ivanhoe - Line ball call so am sticking with the home team.
Williamstown vs Old Melburnians - Willy have more to play for and should be desperate to deliver a win.

Caulfield Grammarians vs Hampton Season can't finish quick enough for Hampton
Old Carey vs Fitzroy - Because we have too but never easy against Fitzroy
Old Geelong vs Old Camberwell - Because Panthers need them to win
Old Trinity vs Old Ivanhoe - Training run for both. No one giving away secrets. Trinity at home
Williamstown vs Old Melburnians - Willy only beaten Hampton/Fitzroy since Round 9

Correct Carlton2011: -
Williamstown vs Old Melburnians - Willy only beaten Hampton/Fitzroy since Round 9,
BUT lost by 11 points away to Oggers
8 points home to CGOBS
3 points away to Carey
However, that's about it for Willy this year unless all the stars align.
This week: -
Caulfield Grammarians vs Hampton
Old Carey vs Fitzroy
Old Geelong vs Old Camberwell
Old Trinity vs Old Ivanhoe
Williamstown
vs Old Melburnians

Geez.. what has happened to OM’s lost in recent weeks. Ressies are playing so many first timers. Being thrashed.
Seniors full of non regulars. Likely to be smashed.
Is it just an Essendon like injury list or are there other issues?

B Grade is super close and interesting.
Trinity and Ivanhoe will play in the 2nd Semi regardless of Rd 18 results.

Caulfield win rd 18 then they are in.
Lose and both Carey and Camberwell win they are likely out. But if they just lose and Carey just win they may still sneak into 4th.

Camberwell win rd 18 and they are in. Lose and Carey win, they are out.

Carey win rd 18 they are a solid chance to play finals. But they need one of Camberwell or Caulfield to lose. And even if Caulfield do lose they may not get in. But most likely will.

Willy need to win and need Carey to lose. And then they are in.

Geelong now cant make it. Even if they beat Carey.

Big questions.
Do Old Trinity take the gamble with form and rest players?
Can Willy with their VFL players back rock Old Camberwell
Do Old Carey beat Old Geelong . Far from a gimmee
I can still see Willy sneaking in

Canada…an absolute cracking comp this year!!

Well we moved from 7 in contention to 6, I thought OGS would be better at home and with Sheridan back.

Camberwell are winding up at the right time and would have to go in favourites against a VFL rejuvenated Willy. Albeit Willy aren't completely out of it and have something to play for.

The Caulfield vs Old Trinity match up is the other massive contest. Will OT rest players (it is a dangerous thing to do, but may be smart) and will Caulfield's VFL contingent be enough to make the difference regardless. Dammersmith (been down back for Coburg most of the year) kicked 6 against Hampton and the Fairlie/Lowe show is great watching.

Old Carey could win and still not make it.

PlayHQ wouldn't want any mishaps next Saturday as many fans hit refresh!
