Maybe or maybe not. It was always a bit too bold AM!!
Very early call as it turns out Les.

Perhaps you can gives us some intel on what's happening at the Rovers after your boys outing today. The usual suspects - Pinto, Devereaux, Ting, Fletcher, Martyn - are still running around. The only key absentee I can readily think of is Corp.

Seems the Monders lack depth. One positive is the under 19s are on top and the club doesn't appear to be ransacking them to boost the ones. Look forward to hearing what Bedford has to say.

Corp is OS for 12 months, AM. Big Josh Verlin will straighten us up in front of goal when he returns.
We were down a few numbers the previous 2 games and as you can see from results in the 2s & 3s our depth just isn't quite the same as at D1 standard. Yesterday was one of those horrible days where the ball just wouldn't bounce the right way for us. We started slowly, but fought back really well. Obviously 3 losses on the trot is a little concerning, but confident on the back of yesterdays effort that we'll turn around it in the coming weeks with player stocks improving.
Certainly a big positive is that the two previous losses conceded 17 goals to 3 in the 3rd 1/4. Whilst we were outscored again yesterday, we dominated the play, but couldn't convert.

Had some good ins but Oakleigh flew out of the blocks and got a break which was about the final margin. Good effort by all at Oakleigh for coming up after the game. Whats going on at the Pirates

Lets hope the Monders can return the favour to Oakleigh with aftermatch support they certainly did not help them selves in that regards against Camberwell. Yes probably a bit of bad blood due to a dubious timekeeping error a few years ago but when you lose by 100points the perception of the club is poor if after the game very few venture in to the aftermatch.

Nothing mysterious with the Pirates, Bedford. Just an unfortunate run with injuries that has left stocks somewhat depleted.

Guys any danger of anyone losing a game because they're not good enough? Injuries are common at this stage of the year. Remember if everyone had their best sides on the park there still has to be 5 beaten teams each week.

Ignorance is bliss, les. Any side that loses obviously isn't good enough. It's 22 versus 22. Most clubs have inflated opinions of where they're at and will try to justify it through injuries, availabilities and form. We're in that boat. Our first 3 games indicate we're a competitive force in C. We've already played 38 players in 2014 (more than any other club to date) after using 39 the year before. 10 Premiership players have played 5 or more games in 2014 making hard to get that consistency required to be a strong side week after week in coming up a grade. When you see that the top 6 sides currently placed on the ladder have used 29-31 players it's understandable we might think our best is good enough to match it with the rest. Particularly given we're 1 game off 2nd spot.

There is more to the OC after match with one our Reserves players very ill in hospital from an incident in the early game and he's still in hospital.
Is there an investigation being conducted with regards to your Reserves player being hurt ie " incident"? If not why not?? if you consider it to be an incident why haven't you done something? Otherwise the opposition bloke may just do it again to someone else...So are you saying that the reason all your senior players did not attend the OC after match was due to an incident in the ressies?
