Perspective. Have said his before but why the unhealthy obsession with Ormond? We have heard ad nauseam how you supply to different leagues, how you are a financial backer of Ormond, how fantastic the SFL is blah blah blah…...

I respect that people have the right to remain anonymous but as you mention it so often I would be interested in you at least advising what it is you supply and to whom. Even better if you want to let the masses know who it is you work for. It might just lend some credibility to your comments.

Ormond a great club with a proud history. Fond memories of playing against them back in the day and feel fortunate to have many good friends associated with the club. Just find the constant put downs a bit much.

Fair enough Rooster but they are underperforming....on and off field.

Bedford you would not be languishing near the bottom of this division if you had kept the players that wanted to stay but needed some work. 2 of them approached my boss !!

If you're Old Xavs finding work is a doddle because of their huge school based supporter network. Any club that can command $10,000 to advertise on their scoreboard has some network. Not so easy for district clubs. Especially those in lower grades.

The game against Parkdale for the Monds was a mini final to remain in C Grade, Parkdale too good even at the Gunn. But good to see lots of young kids playing for Ormond hopefully they can stay together, keep the better players at Ormond and build something eventually.

Yes a long way to go but 2 games behind and % is virtually 3 games behind. Anyway good to see young blokes being "blooded"...

Watched a bit of footage from the Hampton vs Banyule game because of a vested interest. Hampton's red head ruckman (Kelso?) was huge! Did Banyule choose not to compete against him all day? Judging by the 1st quarter the Banyule ruckman just acted as an extra rover, even at the centre square contests.

Devin McDonald, Banyule. Striking, suspended for 4 matches of which 2 matches are suspended to the end of the 2014 season.

Very unusual for a suspended sentence. Were there mitigating circumstances?

Maxy, watched 1 game this year, so can't comment on the incident. Devin is an 18 yr old so maybe that is why a suspended sentence. Played 1st 18 for marcellin last year.
Club lost over 30 players during off season with our best players going to country for money. Side is very young and undermanned, hopefully can win 1 or 2 before the years out.

Having 19s up and running for the first time in 4 yrs is a plus. Depth, however, is a real issue
