Great call Bedford! If you were really there, you might have noticed that Oaten wasn't on the ground
I wonder if he also enjoyed the unbiased umpiring in the reserves game?

Why would you go all that way for20 minutes.I dropped in for about 20 mins at Peninsula on the week end - the ground was a lake - someone could have drowned in the gutters that obliterated the boundary lines.... How many are Ormond missing Bedford? apart from 4 or 5 older blokes the team looked so young. Not many I recognised from the GF from 2013, maybe 10 new faces???
Bedford I said nice to see him on the list I didn't say I saw him play. I was actually making my way from a MPNFL game and thought I would drop in then went off to CPL . I better get your permission next time, a BIT SENSITIVE THIS MORNING ARE WE...??If you were really there, you might have noticed that Oaten wasn't on the ground

Yes Pirates would have had a nice home ground ad. Orm using 44 players!! and only half way through.. It could say that there are many out, either injured or unavailable but also that perhaps a few are not up to it.. Damn hard to win with so many changes each week.. 2 games plus a fair percentage behind third last is going to be hard to make up. Good to see young Oaten on the list again after a bad injury.
Rovers to win well.
Marcellin likewise.
Bangers to get up by a point in a boilover
Oakleigh just at home.
Monash to reverse the round 1 result.
Good luck. Les out.
You were wrong, Les. Banyule won by 3 points.![]()
Congratulations to umpire Steve McCarthy on officiating his 650th VAFA game at Marcellin yesterday.
Well done gents. That's a terrific effort from Macca. Hats off.Congratulations to umpire Steve McCarthy on officiating his 650th VAFA game at Marcellin yesterday.
Also another significant milestone was Tom Brain doing his 500th- yes, you read it correct, 500-'VAFA Sunday' radio show for 88.3 Southern FM this morning.
He is responsible for mentoring some of 'em though.Just wish we had him more, he might make mistakes , but he's not a flog
