Who else has a premier c thirds this year?
Hopefully the Spartans have to play against some decent opposition this year in order to win a flag!

PEGS lost to Fitzroy by 3 goals. They play Balwyn this week - good luck!!!!

Bedford, will you keep Elkman? apart from Robbins is there any that are not lining up with Orm this year? Good to get Buckley back

If Elkman wants to go and play in an inferior comp, good luck to him. Robbo would still like to play for us this year. A couple of others are overseas, but the kids coming through are very good and Buckley is a massive bonus

Rovers defeated Mordialloc by a point with quite a few still missing due to cricket.
A very young Ormond defeated D1 side Yarra Valley by about 11 goals and will play Monbulk this week.

Bedford, I hear yesterday that it is not Murrumbeena that Elkman is going to but Dingley in first Div, Only my opinion but I would say that Dingley would have Ormond covered standard wise and that Elkman would get a few dollars ( $250??) and play in a superior division than VAFA C grade. Didn't Dureau play at Ormond that went to Dingley, could that be the connection.? Anyway great to see the young kids coming through, they are the future and whilst the Monds climb the ladder steadily greater chance of keeping them.

The SFL is a great little comp & has improved 10 fold due to is administration. Maybe your just mad cos you've lost so many players to the SFl over the years

You won't win the Pemier C thirds flag, St Kevin's will smash you BTW, in the battle of suburban leagues, a SKOB team with many players missing defeated Heidleberg on the weekend.

Was informed by a very reliable source that the 2s/u/19s went down by 6 goals and the seniors by 10. Not bad from a Premier C team against a powerhouse EFL Div 1 club.

Seniors got down by 12 goals mate. 19's got done by 8 goals your information is wrong. They were both spuds.

For a powerhouse suburban club you wonder why Balwyn would play a C grade club. PEGS unders not particualry strong either. A lot of teams in EFL first division did not get that close to them last year. About 25 higher placed clubs in the VAFA to choose from. Believe they have played Old Xavs the last 2 years and got touched up both times

It probably appears that way cos Holdsworth took the league from a basket case to good league in a short period of time.
Cannizzo is a great administrator & has maintained Wayne's good work plus brought in new ideas to get the brand out there without bringing in any new teams
