Does anyone know why Old Hailebury have pulled their thirds team? Us poor Hampton thirds almost have to have two byes in a row now!

I dropped in for about 20 mins at Peninsula on the week end - the ground was a lake - someone could have drowned in the gutters that obliterated the boundary lines.... How many are Ormond missing Bedford? apart from 4 or 5 older blokes the team looked so young. Not many I recognised from the GF from 2013, maybe 10 new faces???
Why would you go all that way for20 minutes.

If you were really there, you might have noticed that Oaten wasn't on the ground
Bedford I said nice to see him on the list I didn't say I saw him play. I was actually making my way from a MPNFL game and thought I would drop in then went off to CPL . I better get your permission next time, a BIT SENSITIVE THIS MORNING ARE WE...??

Yes Pirates would have had a nice home ground ad. Orm using 44 players!! and only half way through.. It could say that there are many out, either injured or unavailable but also that perhaps a few are not up to it.. Damn hard to win with so many changes each week.. 2 games plus a fair percentage behind third last is going to be hard to make up. Good to see young Oaten on the list again after a bad injury.

Unfortunately, he has re-broken his collarbone and will now miss the rest of the season. Can't take a trick.

That is awful, he is a good lad and comes from terrific stock both Michael and Pam are quality. I am sure young Matt will come back bigger and stronger.

You were wrong, Les. Banyule won by 3 points.:(

Tough going up there Riss! Not much gets past this super tipster.
After a tight first half my boys banged on 13 majors to none to get a good win.
What's the story with PEGS? Has there ever been such a difference between home and away form?

Congratulations to umpire Steve McCarthy on officiating his 650th VAFA game at Marcellin yesterday.

Also another significant milestone was Tom Brain doing his 500th- yes, you read it correct, 500-'VAFA Sunday' radio show for 88.3 Southern FM this morning.
