That sounds like the goose, must be able to coach , but can't help himself. Ormond were very good today, but the Nodders class told in the end. We had 2 more debutants , which makes 17 for the year, good for the future wherever that may be.The Good and the Ugly
The Kew Coach is very good....he did his homework and had Kew leading most of the day....his set ups, tags and positioning were well thought out and very effective.
In the end Caulfields class across the ground was just too good and they hit the front late in the last quarter to get home comfortably in the end,
Credit where credits due...
but
It appears there was an ugly verbal altercation involving him with a spectator and a complaint to the umpires made . Not sure what comes of it .....I did not witness it so I won't say any more....but the person who noted his behavior is of good character.

I was told of after the game, by a player, that there was some words but I didn't see the incident so I'll wait and see what happens without making judgement, and I urge everyone else to do the same thing.
Caufield just ran over the top of us in the end. Momentum is a wonderful thing. Had we have taken our chances in the first three qtrs we'd likely be talking about a different result. Anyway, can't give good teams a sniff.
At least there were no player reports this week scruff

I heard the Ormond guy reported in the twos last week apologised to both the other player AND the UMPIRE after the game acknowledging his error. This was well received and everyone was pleased he got off .
Well that's interesting you say that because this was a conversation I overheard.... Interesting how there can be such contrasting views... The person I heard should have known and would normally have a pretty balanced view.Well as a person completely involved with that I couldn't disagree anymore. Unlike others I'm not going to have a go at the umpire as an umpire on the day but I'm unsure anyone could be as arrogant as him off the ground. Pathetic performance that could have been solved had the umpire been human on the day.

Fair enoughWell as a person involved unless he was the other umpire he is guessing. I was there

Volunteer ump, he's Mr. Caulfield, absolutely cheated last week.I love how a player who throws a punch (or slap) become a victim and the perpetrator is a volunteer umpire.
Can't imagine why we struggle to find umpires.
Reckon the 22 blokes who run out in their club colours every week could take a touch more responsibility for their actions!

That was about the Reserves. We know as a club what we have to do, the same as your mob did after a shit year. You lost. As a club you've been losing. You can continue to blame others or you can look internally at how you can be better and start winning again. It's entirely up to you.
How come your name was in red the other day
He's decided to have a crack at your record Bedders. How come your name was in red the other day
