Ormond , don't know why. Lets hope the goose behaves.
Caulfield, home ground.
Old Ivanhoe. Because I want them to win.
Marcellin. at home.
Mazenod, too good and the best coach.

if the Ormond crowd can stay off the grog, unlike last time, then it should be ok Bedders. Wise heads will prevail im sure..

Gutsy efforts by bottom 4. The relagation system is so bloody good. Today shows the gap between the best and worst is often dependant upon attitude and desperation.

That takes the cake as your stupidest post .

Whatevs Bedders. You have seen Sir Beaser play up in the past and reference him. Last time I was at an Ormond game your lads caused havoc for security with the booze. You can only comment from experience unless you choose to make things up?
But we are both on the same page here. We don't want anyone playing up. Hopefully Beaser and the Ormond booze was a non affair..
Keep punching..

Not really a considered or intelligent way to finish your comment when referring stating "we don't want anyone playing up."

A great game at Glenhuntly Oval today. It didn't start at all well for the Pirates when they didn't score in the first quarter and gave Caulfield a 42 point lead.
We were always on the back foot from there but got better and better each quarter with 5.5 to nothing in the last to go down by 6 points. We definitely had our chances to win. I like the way our fitness held up and got better as the game progressed.

I can't believe Old Ivanhoe and Mazenod went down to the lower sides. Says a lot for mental strength at the end of the year and the ongoing pressure of relegation to lower sides.

This is the first time I've ever scored a big fat zero in the footy tipping!

Seriously, had to run the boundary is the seniors today at the Gordon Barnard.

Home team couldn't provide one, so of course they get a fossil who 1st boundary umpired a game in the VAFA in 1979.

OCamb have finally realised that having Campbell in the team doesn't guarantee a win. He played the 1st half, OI was up by 30 points. Didn't play in the second, and the win by 19 points.

Max "Somehow we are playing finals" Leader

Campbell has only played in 6 or 7 games this year for Old Camberwell, and you're right Max, they have won more games without him.

Interesting game Caulfield 17 scoring shots to 0 in first quarter. Game should have been over, many wasted shots. We lost one with broken ribs in the first quarter and another with a broken hand early in the second. So only 20 fit after half way through the second. But to their credit the Pirates took the opportunity and were better for much of the rest of the game.
Caulfield happy to scrape home and take the points. Congrats to the 300 plus player who played well on the day and looks like he's got a few more left in him . The Scruff top was certainly blowin in the wind in the last 5 mins

Thanks Scruffy! But phew!!!!!

I'm ready to jump on the bandwagon but that last half by the Pirates...........

Yeah they were good and don't want to take anything away from them but we were two players down and kicked very poorly early should have been 60 up at quarter time.

They switched well and there foot skills were better on the day .....we just had a bit more class when needed....

Another tough one against Ivanhoe next week.

One other point on today .....no tags from either coach ....really good to see the skilled players doin there thing without some guy who can't get a kick but can scrag push hold on etc so gets a game ...
