Top poster Chazz. Not here often, but real quality when he is up and about.

Is it possible another explanation for the 'was here once' thing might be that common political characteristic - selective memory? Just sayin......

Looked afar for this coach.

After a thorough interview process it is with great pleasure that the Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club announces the appointment of Jarrod Carlson as Senior Coach for the 2017 season.

Thank god we don't have to play against him ever again. A real jet.

Much as i like casually browsing all the 'banter' on this site, i'm yet to see any real discussion about the up coming season in what HQ likes to call Premier C
Do we have any real posters from the 2 sides coming down?
Do we have any real posters from the 2 sides coming up?

My side had an interesting end to the season and i wonder if the sides coming down had an off year and will be strong and if the sides coming up know there is a big leap from D to C

Thoughts?

Not sure about that but we have some posters from last year who are remaining in the Prem C forum. I find it difficult to assess how you rate those coming down / coming up. As example Mazenod came down with Caulfield last year. Mazenod seemed to have a weaker list with some departures. Caulfield certainly improved there list and also got more games into there young guns.
Yet Mazenod proved to be a much stronger side come finals and returned deservedly to B. Now bigger stronger bodies in finals made a difference but Caulfield had a new Coach enthusiasm etc.
This year should prove interesting .

Think the Nodders list was slightly stronger with a few returning, Scruffy.

The coach factor was big I'm told. Ben Phibbs energised the place getting commitment from a playing group that just didn't gel with his predecessor. Remarkable effort to clinch a flag at your first shot as a head coach.

Guess your club more than any would know the difference a coach can make.

Apparently unless you closely follow a team in a given section you aren't permitted a viewpoint anymore. At least so says the Johnny-come-lately. So we might as well turn off the lights now.

Well after last weeks gale force winds the Scruff Top is in for a service at Edward Beale this afternoon (not enough for Rene Kink to work with)...will betaking a picture of Donald Trump for inspiration.....Big night at the fields tonight with the Premier event of the year. Crowning of the B and F for 2016.....need to look my best on the "Blue Carpet".

After finishing 2nd in the Vafa b and f. Will Barker has taken out the 2016 fields B and F. Only 20yo Will had a great year and was well deserve. Many of our young guns took out awards on the night. The future looks bright at the Fields

It was quite clearly a bit of fun, obviously the stray bullets hit someone for them to ask for it to be deleted, pretty easy to guess who.

It's a shame, as a bit of fun off season is what keeps this rolling.
I was annoyed about the call re me pretending to be a Panther.

not only have all brian christmas's bullets missed, all his posts/bullets have been bad mouthing other posters.

why any punter would see a hothead and troublemaker whose whole reason for being here is to bad mouth fellow punters as being anything bit destructive amazes me.

for the overwhelming majority interested in football does anyone know who has succeeded aitkin at kew?
