I didn't hear in the offseason that Willy had made the move away from Trevor Barker.
Any insight in here as to why and what the new ground is like?
Will be interesting to see how that plays out too as I always felt Trevor Barker was a massive home ground advantage with the longer drive and the winds blowing straight off the beach. A bit similar to PEGS in that they always stole a couple of games every year from teams not used to playing in a wind that strong
Trevor Barker is in Sandringham.
Willy CYMS usually play at a ground named Fearon Reserve, which is 11 suburbs away and in the other side of the Westgate Bridge.

Very interesting year
Is there a bigger coward in the VAFA than OMs #24 playing in the Reserves game on Saturday? Guts of an easter egg, he has. Berates his teammates worse than Heath Shaw does, but needs a few credits in the bank if he's going to continue doing so. Heard he's just as scared of asking his missus to stay out late on a Saturday night as he is sticking his head over the pill. Time to borrow some courage from The OMs Godfather, old mate JC15.
Miss Uncle MickBack with a bang UM.Been too long.
If you can brush aside the chaos caused by the troll who is a protected species you'll find some fine posting/posters here.

I'm pretty sure you took AM the wrong way. He was not accusing UM of being someone else im sure. Seriously , please don't go over the top, even most that disagree on here im sure need a bit of space and if it is abuse and trolling, deal with it. No one is harming anyone, it's a bit of fun for most and interesting to get other thoughts. I hope that doesn't get me an infraction.https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/help/terms

Nobody is a protected species. If you don't like the way the rules are being applied equally and fairly, there is a facility on the above page to kick it upstairs.
Welcome back, UM! Sorry, had to get that out of the way first.

Lol indeed. Couple too many beers after work getting the better of me.
Still interested to know if anyone's got anything to report on the new ground though

No mate, I - and I think you too - know who UM is. I wasn't accusing him of being other than the one and only.
OTP should know I'm very much aware of the guidelines and my inference was there is a lack of even-handedness in the application on his part. I think we may even be on the same page in that regard.
Good to see UM posting again. As I said, it's been too long.
What happened to the raging premiership favourites Scruff top? Just an off day or is Haileybury that good?

AM,
Right now you are in the unfortunate position of those who stand behind the goals loudly complaining of bias or cheating. The chances of a decision being reversed in your favour are zero. Call the boss if it means that much to you but you already know his answer. That bubbling noise you hear is years of goodwill evaporating.
By all means take up my perceived lack of even-handedness with the powers that be, or drop it. I have already given you the link.
Now get back to talking footy. Please.
Good question AM
Firstly all the raging prem favourite talk was based on not much other than our young guns having a year under the belts and a couple of recruits of reasonable standard but most importantly size.
OH we're simply too precise with their ball movement and generated their run fro half back quickly into the the Big FF who has hands like Stuey Leowe and couldn't miss from anywhere. Our young on ballers were good but always pressured so the movement forward was a little erratic. We missed our FF who injured his ankle last week and had straightened us out over the preseason.
As I have said from day 1 I think there are 5 pretty good sides but we will find out more over the coming weeks . Willy this week will start to tell the story .
OH are the team to beat.
