Anyone get down to the Old Ivanhoe vs Preston game on the weekend. Even though it blew out late looked like it was a close game throughout the day

Preston played a pretty solid 1st half. We over used the ball too much. Once the middle got on top the game was over. We had several players struggling with the flu. Happy for the win.

Yes agree, strong and even performance. Ormond very small, they should have recruited the boundary umpire to ruck against Mac. The great Azza “Mahmoud” Williams could still do a better job than what they had.

Nah strong, as I said, from a team still re-grouping after comprehensive losses to the best two in it - OI and HR. Lowest winning score in the grade today but just got it done. Seems we see things differently, which I am ok with.

Been a big night celebrating the Bloods, now come across this crap . Maybe have a look at how many are out , we haven't had a ruckman for weeks and the last time we had one he got an appendicitis during the game . Our boys never gave up at any stage and we kicked the 1st goal in the last and it was only 4 goals the difference , then some poor kicking let us down .48 frees to 3 QT was over the top ffs. Just don't get ahead of yourself .

I think that is fair. Monash played them round 1 and they were hard at the footy, and had good speed and spread. In a long season they are very well positioned.
