Overuse of the word Dominating ??????? Finals will be very gettable and very even for whoever makes it. There's always a top of the ladder team, pressure on them to win it is another issue.

Lost 3 games in a year and a half and % of nearly 200 !

Have not had an issue apart from 1 ump earlier in the season , but these guys were off . Happy to praise and have this year.
Makes it easier to comment when a B grade team is dominating C !

How does it make it easier to comment?

Dont remember commenting being easier or harder when we were on the bottom of the ladder a few years ago.

Big week for C Grade.

Mazenod lose to HR, it opens the door slightly for OI. Assuming OI beat UHSOB

OI will go 4 points ahead of Mazenod.

The following week OI have the bye, and Mazenod play Parkdale (who are also still chasing the 4th spot).

If Mazenod lose that game they will remain 4 point behind OI.

After OI bye they play Monash and Mazenod play Preston

Form dictates that after that round Mazenod and OI will be equal on points coming into the last 2 rounds. OI play Mentone and Preston and Mazenod play OGs and UHSOB.

Meanwhile Parkdale will also be a sneaky chance, but they have to beat Mazenod and HR to make it.

It may come down percentage will Mazenod slightly ahead.

Tough day for Uni today, but they still rank as one of the best clubs in the whole VAFA.

They love their club and they love footy.

They always finish the game with a smile regardless of the result.

With Marcellin winning today it looks like UHSOB will go down with Preston.

Walked down to Preston today they gave Old Geelong a run for there money for 3 quarters and then they forgot to come out from the huddle at 3qt and let 10 unanswered goals fly over their heads but good to see a young 17 year old M.Phillips hold his own today. Please to see D.Stamatakos and M.perrazola play out of their skins. is it me or is the umpiring getting worse and worse every weekend?

Massive game next week at Boss James Reserve-1 Monash Blues v 2 Hampton Rovers. Could it be a possible Premier C GF preview? Hopefully there will be a full book of umpires (2/3 field, 2 boundary, 2 goal) to control the match.

The last two weeks we have had very good umpires. They protect the ball player and let the game flow.

OI totally outclassed the boys today in every department. It looked as if we couldn’t get out of second gear. We needed to win two of the last six games which, being realistic won’t happen now. The boys were very disappointed in their performance today. Good luck to OI for the rest of the year.

The love footy irrespective of the result.
Boycey gave one of the best post match speeches in our rooms yesterday despite knowing they lost by 20 goals and were to be relegated.
Provided refreshments for the players after the games
The number of player volunteers is incomparable to any club if seen. All for one and one for all.
The number of players who support all teams. Women and twos hung around all day.
Imagine not having your own ground for the year and still making the best of it.

Just a few reasons. Winning isn’t everything. A good club is a good club.
