Not that it was ever in doubt but Ormond and OP are going to add some serious spice to Prem C in 2026, the Jones 2 appearances to qulaify has gone down like an iron kite with Ormond. Understandable really, the 4 game rule inc 1 before 30/6 for many other types coming down in standard seems very reasonable and whoever came up with the 2 game rule probably has some answering to do I reckon.

Connection with the school.

Clubs aren't assessed on the strength of the u19s.
Connection with the school good, but no point if they aren't getting the kids feeding through... strong correlation to big 19s numbers and success, eg gryphs in 2023 and Ormond this year

1 year doesn't tell the whole story. Plenty of Old McK representation across the club

Massive choke by Parkdale out in straight sets, Beauy have to go in strong favourites haven't put a foot wrong since round 3.
You could call it a choke ? but full credit to Ajax as they were better on the day. Parkdale had a great season and finished minor premiers, 2's into the GF and going for back to back, 19's turned around 100 points from the 2nd semi against Beauy and convincingly touched them up to be premiers in a great performance. Supers and overs 35's got the premierships. Not many clubs have been as successful this season, so they are in a really strong position as a club, better than most i'd suggest.

But also have been very lucky with the amount of Wagga boys feeding through the club... the top quality players at GE mostly aren't ex McKinnon, bar some of the up and coming young ones... at the end of the day to be a successful club you need numbers flowing through your 19s.

Any match reports from the Grand Final ? Looked like a good contest
Beaumaris looked very good and the same must be said with Ajax though they punched well above their weight.

I was particularly impressed with the Beauy backline, extremely well drilled and set up pretty much everything. Linehan is a great player.

Ajax smaller types really stood up I thought, their ruckman was exceptional. You could see Beauy had the polish and had that bit more to get the job done.

#17 for Beauy has talent to burn, some of his individual efforts were amazing.

Wilce had the BOG medal wrapped up before halftime.

Watched the 1st half.

The game was very fast, with both teams punishing turnovers.

Ajax were stronger in the middle, but Beauy were looking more threatening up forward. Harmes crated alot of issues early.

When the rain came (not heavy), Beauy appeared to handle it better.

The ruck contest was key with Heath getting g on top.

Ajax appeared to lose 2 players before half time.

Got too cold so I went home.

Both teams will be in next year. It is goi g to be a tight year in Prem B.

Ajax really suffered when Toby Sheezel was injured early. He is their driving force and creative instinct. They really missed his flair. In the last quarter when Ajax went straight down the ground and moved the ball to their forwards quickly, they looked a far better team. its amazing at all levels that it takes you till you can't win before you play with a no costs mentality and that often works in your favour.
