Marcellin- have lost Howe and potentially a couple more to Northern. + coach gone.

St Bedes- talk was Behnk was moving to play higher standard, also announcing re signings at the moment and yet to see some of the top liners. Coach Also gone.

Glen eira- lost 3 of the Wagga boys and coach gone.

Pegs- Lost Fenner

Mazenod- new coach however haven’t heard anything??

Very good year to be coming up I dare say. Middle part of Prem C are all losing a few so far.

Parkdale/Fitzroy should be the standouts.
Maybe the Combine can appoint the female supercoach there , she has the ego and wanted equal training rights on the main nights

Most of these clubs in Prem C aren't going to get much higher (Ormond excluded). If a talented player wants to move on to higher honours, then so be it, they should go with the clubs blessing.

Its why facilities with two ovals are worth their weight in gold. 1 ground for seniors/ressies/u19s/thirds/girls is bloody tough to navigate.

Yeah, I was thinking about this the other day. Ormond posters love to bag Glen Eira whenever they can, Glen Eira does live rent free in Ormond's head. But what does the tail of the tape say?

History - Ormond has the history, stalwarts of the VAFA they love to remind everyone.
Facilities - Ormond has the ovals, has the pavilion, wants for nothing infrastructure wise.
Juniors - Ormond has it all in place, and happy to block any new entrants.
Admin - well connected and celebrated admin, probably would have done a Nathan Jones with Luke Breuast in 2026 if he hadn't done his knee.
Recent success - Have to give that one to Glen Eira, 7 flags and a COVID minor premiership in the last 10 years, 4 of them senior mens. Running out room to hang the damn things!

Is this reason for Ormond's saltiness? That Ormond hasn't enjoyed much success despite all the advantages that they have at their disposal that Glen Eira doesn't have?

##### like you have NFI what went on . Who from Ormond goes on about history and where , certainly not me . I actually believe that clubs should leave the ammos and play reginal footy
Blocks new entrants to juniors , that was the competition.
Bruest would've qualified , not like Jones

Personally, I couldn't care less about who Ormond choose to affiliate with.

Lol. You post more shite about Glen Eira than any other person on this forum.
Not for along time , i don't care anymore , all i said was they don't have coach as yet and would the female supercoach put in

So, Davey, you questioned what I said and then agreed with me. I think the information on this site is about a quarter right. There is more misinformation or disinformation than real information.

The point is that a lot of the young talent are looking around and have every right to do so. and believe me the Prem A clubs are also looking at Prem C players as well.
Ha I commented about one player who is publicly known to have interest from Southport and other clubs, you make up rumours and can’t back them up…

I think this whole Glen Eira v Ormond rivalry is basically made up and not like a real historical rivalry… if it hadn’t been for a large group of Ormond juniors heading over to the Gryphs for a year none of this “rivalry” would exist both clubs make it out to be more than it is… it does however have potential to be a good local derby for the future

Behnk isn't even going to Southport.

Thanks Footy2016, you have substantiated a lot of what I said. You are the No 1 poster on this site. The rest of them are just going around in circles posting mis or disinformation.

There’s a clear difference between a player having club interest and being confirmed going to a club… I know I never said he was definitely off Nepo. I think you need to stop worrying so much about everyone else and you always being “right”

There is something radically wrong with that guy.

People on here need to really chill out. I'm more of the view that the supposed "rivalry" between Glen Eira and Ormond is as strong as the supposed "rivalry" between a club like Ajax and Collegians. Sure, the clubs are close in geographical proximity, and some may have played for both clubs, but is there really a genuine rivalry between the two? Also, before 2026, when was the last time these clubs played each other in senior men's football? The early 2000s?

I don't really care , i got over it and there is the saying every dog has their day
Please don't fall in to that troll

It looked like Bedford himself created a rivalry with OP this year the way they came at him after the Grand Final win. He did potshot them all year this year.

My mobs actually still in Div 1 next year so we’ll see you back down in 2027. Calling others trolls when you pot shot other clubs week in week out is a bit hypocritical by you though.
And i praise others , maybe start a Div 1 2026 thread
But can't say your club ffs , WAP
