Parkdale lose League B & F and Club B & F Matt Emmanouil to Red Hill in the MPNFL. Would be a massive loss to them I wander how many others have walked out the door there.

Huge loss, Fitzroy dropping down to B grade and keeping alot of their core list + recruiting a couple will be licking their lips given the departures of key players from sides in C grade, will be very hard to beat you would think.

Parkdale have plenty of depth and access to TAC cup players, be interesting to see if a few others depart with him or if manage to keep.

Going to be a very interesting and mostly even Premier C given the departures of key players/coaches from sides.

Fitzroy are losing players like all clubs. Vultures (not Parkdale) swoop on every club, offer some cash and players jump.

Points need to be dramatically dropped to 40.

The cash in the suburbs has gone to another level . Montrose in Eastern have signed 1 for 60k and another for 40 K , makes a joke of the salary cap . One Peninsula club offering 2k for 3 players to come there and then clubs like St Pauls offering $400 a game to players

They are, however they seemed to have retained a core and added a couple, they were competitive at B grade so I would expect them to be super strong in a weaker then ever premier C. Sides have been absolutely smashed this off season…

Happens in the EDFL/WRFL also, is no escaping it. + country which is next level $$$

A lot of Prem A clubs are picking the eyes out of the younger talent in Prem C as well, offering them the opportunities to play in the big time.

They were more competitive in Prem A than Prem B. They have lost their best forward to Vermont.

Shattering for Parkdale. Heard they didn't think they were quite ready for B Grade in 2026, they are now less ready than they were.

With the phone apps available now, players can show their interest to be paid to other clubs and basically bargain for their services. A player can say he is not interested right up to the point where a paying club makes an offer that is too hard to refuse. I have heard up to $1,400 a game being discussed. At that price, no local amateur player can really refuse.

Well Ormond have Luke Breust coming so he’ll probably be on $2000 a game.
