No, it was the "half back flanker" Nepo that said it, that's why the post was in reply to him.

But...

You label any GE initiative to attract players outside of the Wagga CBD as "grubby". That's pretty entitled IMO.

BTW You and Nepo aren't the only Ormond posters on here.
He's not Ormond ffs . What was grubby, i haven't said anything about them for a couple of years , they have done well
Becoming more of a W run club anyway and they are a great W team

We are one of the greatest clubs in the VAFA and without us, the VAFA wouldn't be half as good as it is.

Even when it was called the Metropolitan Amateur Football League in the 1930s.

The Ormond football club has won VAFA PREM A on 9 occasions in 1950, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990 and rank 6th in most premierships behind only older serving Clubs.

We helped build the VAFA.

Ernie Gunn is one of the most important people in VAFA history.

Now that we have won the battle for the McKinnon SC kids, we will get the flow of boys through our under 19s and our future is bright.

So every other team in Prem C, you are on notice. Beware, the chocolate brown and sky blue are on the rise.

Nepotism didn’t I see you say watch out for them all year in another thread and say they have the flag all wrapped up in July? What happened to them on GF day?

We were robbed. The rules were blurry and OP took advantage of them. They played a guy in Nathan Jones who is way too talented for the level. I said at the time that is was a trap for our boys and so it proved. Our lovely young boys were under pressure they hadn't seen all year. I know that Bedford and I took a few weeks to get over it, infact I didn't post for 2 weeks after the grand finale, I was crying so much. So sad...but life goes on and we are immediately out looking for recruits to increase the vibe around Ormond as we take Prem C by storm.

He wouldn't have a clue , reading off the website again and just so you know , WE got beaten by a better team on the day , that's why the game is so good

I heard $$ being thrown at Luke Breust to Ormond.

We were beaten by the better team on that fateful day but you know, I had a dream. In the dream all the young boys who suited up for the Ormond football club on that tragic day that we got humiliated by Nathan Jones and Old Peninsula, In my dream, it is 10 years in the future and the Ormond football Club is back winning Prem A with virtually the same team that we had in this year's grand final and some of the under 19s who have matured. And on winning the Prem A flag, the group have a realisation that it was the day they lost the Div 1 Premiership to Old Peninsula that made them all men and made the sturdy and strong with a great belief. So good things can come out of bad. And I am just hoping and praying that my dream comes true. For the good of the Ormond football club and the good of the VAFA who will be a better organisation with one of its fav clubs back on top of Prem A.

What's good for the Ormond football club is also good for the VAFA.

Any currency to the whisper that a very recent tacktogether coach who made a less than successful move to the SFNL might head back in what some have described as a tail-between-legs return?
He is already signed sealed and delivered to East Brighton Vampires.

Glen Eira have been caught looking for gold only to find its Pyrite.

Personally I'm looking forward to the renewal of the Fitzroy-Ormond rivalry...healthy respect between the two biggest District clubs in the Amo's (no disrespect intended to Beauy)
Plus 1.

Huge respect for your club and for you keeping your long, rich history going in the VAFA. Best guernsey in the comp.

What about Willy cyms? They are pretty big.

The Fitzroy v Ormond rivalry is a great sporting rivalries in Victorian sport. There is total respect between both Clubs. People don't understand how hard it is to be a stand-alone club in the VAFA competing with old collegian teams that have a readymade production line of players from their respective school.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Ormod v Fitzroy grand final in Prem C this year.

The VAFA is all about rivalries. Tradition. Games that have been built up over time due to what it represents for both sides. Because Ormond have so much rich history in the VAFA, we absolutely have rivalries all over the place but these only get ignited when both teams are in the same division. So, let me say, there are a number of strong rivalries that have been simmering for a long time between Ormond and our adversaries, and these are about to be ignited with a flame thrower this year. Some of these rivalries are matched with a good degree of respect and some of them are with total distain.

His posting suggests otherwise. I don't buy the "fake Ormond" story being peddled on here. If you are certain that he is not connected to Ormond, then who is he connected to? And, how many suspensions does he get before he is permanently banned?
He is NOT Ormond for the last time and we can only hope

Ormond have grown the club from the bottom up through enduring a tough time when a certain other Prem C team stole all our under 19s. But We have been able to turn the trend around and now we have the access to the young talent in the region. That is why we are going to grow as a club and prosper while others will slowly fade away. It's all about the long-term plan. Ormond took our eyes off the ball for a while but now the people in charge have a great strategy and Ormond is the club of choice for the young people in the area.

If you are certain that he is not connected to Ormond, then who is he connected to?

His posts suggest he is either an AI chat bot or a serial website hunter with a fetish for cutting and pasting random titbits of information. He has professed his love for the "Cheltenham Rosellas" elsewhere.
