Newspapers and media will report on the 'superior' NSW medical systems in place (over the 'lax' and 'unprepared' medical systems in the other states) and Perrottet will be touted as the leader whose bravery opened up Australia.

2.2 Premises that must not be open

The following premises in the general area must not be open to the public—​

(a) amusement centres,​

(b) business premises that are play centres,​

(c), (d) (Repealed)​

(e) sex on premises venues,​

(f) (Repealed)​

(g) public swimming pools in indoor areas, except to conduct swimming classes, lap swimming, squad training or rehabilitation activities.​

Pretty sure (e) covers brothels mate.

We've got 4-5x the active cases down here compared to NSW. The NSW boogyman is the least of our concerns.

I wasn't talking about covid so much as the political strategy and method his covid approach indicates.

Notice how your view - that we have more than enough to worry about our own response in Victoria instead of also worrying about NSW - feeds into the narrative they're creating: that Victoria has made its own mistakes, despite the reality that NSW has obtained vacines originally intended for other states. We have certainly made our own mistakes, but our current wave is due to NSW and SA infected starting clusters after our last lockdown ended, and Morrison refused us the ADF to close the NSW/Vic border.

But we do have more than enough to worry about? At the moment intra-state transmission is the primary risk factor for virus spread, and probably will remain so until we reach some sort of equilibrium between the two states.
