At the halfway point of the season, it is a very wide open premiership and relegation race.

At full strength, SKOBAFL, OXAFL, and UNIAFL have to be the favourites irrespective of form and ladder position. OBALUMNI and OMAFL on their day can beat anyone. 5 into 4 will be a tough squeeze, but make finals and you're in with a chance. It'll be interesting watching how UNIAFL work their points later in the season. Scotch in with a sniff as well but mid-table obscurity awaits.

Bernards are going down, so then it remains between Trinity, Caulfield and dare I say, MIRRA FC on who can stay up.

The infamous double bye beckons, something controversial but for the betterment of the season. We want full sides out on the park.

Doug is still here. Two of him in fact. But he’s laying low with his current commentary, so only the wise can see him.
Apologies for calling myself wise.

Only one of OXAFL or BluesAFL 45+ points will make finals

Old Trinity vs St Bernards - Toss of a coin but sticking with the home team.
Old Melburnians vs SKOBS - OM's are travelling well, but SKOBS for me.
Collegians vs Caulfield - Reckon the Fields have finally clicked.
Uni Blues vs Old Brighton - Interested to see how many points Carrington plays under.
Old Xaverians vs Old Scotch - Too much experience at Toorak Park.

Old Trinity vs St Bernards - should be a good one
Old Melburnians vs SKOBS - on a roll
Collegians vs Caulfield - I'm losing faith in the crumbles despite the awesome aftermatch feeds
Uni Blues
vs Old Brighton - only because they are at home
Old Xaverians
vs Old Scotch - I don't think there'll be an upset here

SKOB
Blues
Snowdogs
Caul
OX
Old Trinity vs St Bernards - Bernards in world of pain
Old Melburnians vs SKOB - SKOB based on my bias
Collegians vs Caulfield - Fielders are on the march! Heard the podcast this week and they have plenty coming back.
Uni Blues vs Old Brighton - Tonners are class
Old Xaverians vs Old Scotch - Much much too good for the plucky outfit at Scotch. They should be proud of taking it up to the big boys this season.

Is it true uni will be stripped of all points with cheating ...sorry miscalculations of points this year?
This year only? They are nearly compliant in 2022. Go back and look at every game since points were introduced

Trinity at home
SKOBAFL haven’t lost to Melbournians since before B grade premiership.
CaulfieldAFL
Old Brighton 22 points to beat blues at 66 points.
Old Xavs to win game and Scotchies the fights

The arrogance of Uni Blues knows no boundaries! Mr Carrington listed as a 3 pointer even though the whole world knows he’s a 4 pointer.

All VAFA clubs should band together and have them relegated two grades for bringing the game into disrepute.

What a farce.

I’ll have these Mr Post, lots of players missing from the so called ‘more fancied’ teams.

Final 4 set. Relagation most probably locked in too. All about getting players back and peaking for finals.
Will be interesting to see if Uni Blues can win 5 of their last 8 to avoid relegation. Can Trinity win two?
