Umpiring was very ordinary. There was one deliberate out-of-bounds call that was just insane. Hibbins kicked it quickly out of a contest in the centre and it goes out of bounds down near the 45, and i think it was the non-controlling umpire that ran in and paid the free.

I reckon you are being stiff with the umpires....they certainly let it go but it didn't think it was too bad. Clearly had no effect by the way!! The Hibbins kick out (I'm talking about the one in the 2nd quarter) was harsh but reasonable fair. Kicks the ball quickly but makes no attempt to keep the ball in play and heads pretty directly for the boundary . Keeping in mind its not deliberate but insufficient intent. Much harder in modern footy with 18 men around the ball and players kicking for touch so that can set up again with a stoppage. Hard to assess the quality against other super teams given the strong breeze. They were certainly very impressive and SKOB had few winners...perhaps Mitch Wallis was a standout.
