FWIW someone is lying then because I’ve been told he trained last week. Not sure why you are hiding it?
I recall seeing Gilbert at the supermarket last year early on a Saturday morning with his wife, the kids didn't look like they were anywhere near school age just yet, let alone high school age! They have a history of signing old (age) St Kilda players. Hasn't got any kids looking for a school to go to does he?
Ophidian Old Boys
I put that up last year , a few to BaroogaWhispers that Caulfield have very depleted playing numbers from last year.
They should be very strong in the Under 19s after their unbeatable school first 18 took everything before them in 2022. Push these talented kids up.Whispers that Caulfield have very depleted playing numbers from last year.
So what - medal required?I put that up last year , a few to Barooga
Play the whole College XVIII and they'll win the premiershop. They should be very strong in the Under 19s after their unbeatable school first 18 took everything before them in 2022. Push these talented kids up.
Wasn't to do with you and didn't mention girls footySo what - medal required?
They’re all scholarship kids, zero interest in the old boys apparently.Play the whole College XVIII and they'll win the premiershop.
That doesn't shock but it's sad if true. They’re all scholarship kids, zero interest in the old boys apparently.
I’m happy they can’t, I hate the scholarship model, it’s unfair for fee paying parents. That doesn't shock but it's sad if true.
As I have said, Wesley had a few kids on scholarships (not anywhere near as many as Caulfield though) back when the school won the APS flag in 2010 and many of these boys ended up with senior flags at Collegians, plus representing the Big V and being long time Collegians players. It's a shame Caulfield can't translate their school success to success for their old boy side.

I like Wesley so don’t mind it, they’ve been downtrodden for way too long. Those with Boarding Houses add another dimension to the "Scholarship model". Dont have to rely on Metro boys anymore.
My school has a "scout" in Albury Wodonga region, sourcing talent....has worked a treat in 2021 and 22.
H Goddard finished as well.First day for transfers yesterday
Looks like in addition to Hayes, Capra, Macula, Carr and Harper all retiring, it looks like Blues have lost both Batarilo brothers, Bouffler, Ingleton and Quinn. That is fairly sizeable chunk of their senior playing contingent from 2022 right there.
Also, surprising to see Anthony Zimmerman from Old Brighton has gone to St Kilda City. That is a massive loss for them and I'd suspect he will be one of the best players in that competition.

Schools like Bedfords and Flat Footy favourite one De La Salle were once pretty strong, but they lose a heap, as do St Bede’s, Mazenod and the like.
