If he has a VFL contract there is still the odd chance he returns to Collegians.

Who is it for? Surely given hes done preseason with Collingwoods AFL side just signs there
From what I've been told, Coburg. They've offered a decent contract and I guess if he's playing in defence, it gives him a good opportunity and the compensation is better. He wants to make the AFL now that he's had that taster.

Sof trained at Coburg in November prior to the drafts. Good to luck to him, he’s a star on and off the field. Let’s see what comes of it.

Doesnt look like he will be a fringe player at Coburg. Will having a contract, proclude him ever playing the odd game at Colls?
The club have every right to release him to play local football as long as the club approve it. In the past two seasons plenty of regular VFL players across the competition have qualified to play finals for their local club and have gone to play local football especially in their VFL bye rounds.

Hopefully we get him for a few cameos at the Lions in 24

Hopefully he will be on an AFL list in the next week and we don’t see him playing at Collegians. Ditto for Lachie Sullivan.
Sullivan surely signs for Collingwood VFL if he misses out on the spot. Done the whole preseason there and if the Dogs were going to draft him they would have already done it by now.

He will be playing on the MCG for the real Pies. That will make it three SKOB premiership players from the 2018 flag winning team that have made the big time!
Now let’s get Sof there as well.

Dont know about Reeves, but you could hardly say Jok was an AFL player. He tried, played a few, then back in the Ammos.
Similiar to Mirra, outstanding VFL player, but couldnt step up. Same goes for Jok
Is Jok still going around at SKOB again?
Heard rumours he was flirting with the possibility of playing VFL again because he wanted a challenge, was sick of playing at Skevs.

Is Luke Winter giving VFL a go too? Surely has to give it a crack eventually

If true, Beaten out by a guy who spent two years on a afl list, definitely not disgraced and will be better for the elite standard experience
Pies filled all three spots and he wasn't one of them.
Lets see how he goes at VFL level wherever it may be.

Hawks may now have a spot open...could his former Collegians teammate have an influence?

Maybe Ethan Phillips would fill the spot created by the Blanck ACL. A SKOBS man via Port Melbourne and now Box Hill.

Mr Platinum may add another to his footy factory claims.

Your mail is very good ‘God’. Funnily enough, Collingwood took two boys who were going to play at SKOB in 2024, oh what could have been…..

If Easy does go, it will show how stiff Collegians were in that era, with possibly 9 ex or future AFL players who were on the SKOB team, not including Jamar who was dropped to the ressies.

For Collegians to nearly fall to B grade in the Covid season of ‘21 and then to come back and win the flag last year shows what a fabulous and resilient club they are.

2024 is going to be a ripper, with the reigning premiers the clear favourites, followed by a much younger SKOB with Scotch, Blues, OX and Brighton to fight it out for the other two places in the four.

Thanks Plats for the pump up, I hadnt looked at it that way, but your right, 2 Flags by a total of 6pts.

A Mirra type person, good young kids from the School due to people from the School
who actively support Colls, that includes the H/Master. It makes things easier, still tough, but when everyone is going in the same direction....it certainly helps.
