They wouldn't win a game in the VAFA because their players are only there for the money and a chance to be noticed by an AFL club.
When the money evaporates, so do their mercenaries.

Not a single player that plays VFL for any of these sides would be simply playing for money. If they wanted a cash grab they would get that at local in country football.

They are playing to be apart of a competition that’s against professional athletes in an attempt to realise their AFL dream.

Wonder how competitive they'd be. or if they could build a u19's, reserves and senior squad. Without a u19s, school or junior feeder you are doomed in this comp

Doesn't the EDFL have a rule that states that 'No Juniors, No Seniors, or is it

Not a whole heap of signings so far. I wonder when Uni Blues will announce their ex-AFL blokes?

Uni Blues ‘winning’ recruiting season, whilst it will be interesting to see what talent Fitzroy can bring to their club in the off-season.

OM’s are also heavily recruiting non OMG players, it will be interesting to see how this plays out culturally at that organisation.

What’s the point of signing someone who plays for a VFL team?

I understand it to be that he has a bit to go in development before he is a semi reg VFL player. At this point in time : 90% VAFA, 10% VFL. But is a really good young kid.....just what we need, youth with big skills.

Just an observation.....Received my old school journal last night (periodical) Wes Coll. An article waxing lyrical about the GF success as you would imagine, Some interesting stats : 15 of the 22 were old boys. Only 1 reg ex VFL, D Mirra, who didn't attend Wes Coll. Of the 22, 17 were 24 or under. Add to this, 3 guns kids coming in next year, 24 from the School...There is a methodology here...
And this is a Co ed School.

SKOB had 21 of the 22 team in the GF as Old Boys of the school, Josh Tynan being the exception. Perhaps that’s why we lost.

Who cares about OX, they’re a non factor.
