Match day yeah takes too long and is quite difficult to get the balance right. Ive done the simulating but for me I lose too many games doing it that way. I feel the clubs are too quick to sack you. Noone gets sacked after two years in real life and theres no 'improvement factor'. Its either make finals or get sacked. I got sacked after two years as Port Adelaide after finishing 17th and 10th. Then took on the job as GC who'd finished 16th & 17th in the first two years and took them to 13th and 9th, then got sacked. Retook the job at Port Adelaide, who'd finished 17th and 17th and finished 12th and 9th before getting sacked again.
Havent really begun playing again after that as got annoyed at making changes to the lists and not having the time to actually see any results.

Mine probably only average about 5 disposals and rarely kick any goals. I also have the odd game where they don't touch the ball, probably not playing.
and Ed Lower who was in career best form.
You can end up with a messy list at the end of it. Do all the signing yourself next time, its actually not too bad and is usually more effective
