I'm planning to get this game. I'm on a laptop alot more and it has low graphics capability. Can it be played?

Yeah, its a pretty basic game (mainly text based) and should be fine. I've only ever played it on my two laptops and no real dramas except for the occassional bug/glitch, which won't depend on the computer anyway. I'm sure there's more info and probably system requirements on http://premiership-coach.info/. If you're still in doubt use the official forum on their website or contact the developers by an e-mail and they'll be more than happy to help you out.
In fact, for anyone reading this. If you have a problem, question or just want to make a suggestion or discuss specific things, the official forum is one of the first places to go to. It is obviously run by the developers and they are always there for support and are always willing to take any suggestions for a patch or future versions. Great resource :thumbsu:

What would people recommend, buy the game from a shop or download ? Any difference ?

Extremely keen on this game after reading through all the pages. Anyone played with the eagles ? What's the team like ? Surely Naitanui has infinity potential ;)

Go the shop as then you have a CD as backup if your computer crashes. No difference in the actual game I don't think but moreso for your own benefit. You can only get the game from EB but especially at this stage of the season you should be able to pick it up a fair bit cheaper from there. I picked mine up 1/2 price for about $25 a few weeks ago. If you can't find it anywhere (as the stores never order in too many copies) still definitely buy it online though, cos its too good a game to be missing out on.
Haven't actually played with the eagles but from what I recall, their list is in a pretty good way to begin with. Should finish around the top 8. And yes, Nic Nat has been an absolute star from what I have seen, tracking him. Can play really well as a ruckman and a tall forward. Manages a lot of hitouts and destroyed me once with a 5 goal haul. You'll have a lot of fun with him ;)

Get Justin Sherman. Absolute gun. Wrecks any team, he took Port from 17th to 8th in my game.

Thank you, I'll keep my eye on him now ;) Swallow's been doing me in with his undiscipline and lack of form at the moment so he could be a good straight swap

Clancee Pearce from Freo is a gun, Put him on the bench will get over 25 kicks :thumbsu:

Cheers again, I'll also have a look at him. Believe it or not, big Karmichael Hunt is an absolute gun off half-back!!! Can also play up forward and fill in as a tall if needed. Reccomend having a look at him, cos he won't break the bank either (is only rated something like 68). Made the AA team in my latest season, on the field too ;)

Jarryn Geary gets a bit of the ball off half back aswell. Was AA in my first season as coach.

Sam Gilbert is a great buy too. I play him as a small back but I have played him at CHB and CHF with awesome affect.

Kosi has been awesome, I play him at full forward and be gets 20 possies, 20 hitouts and between 2-5 goals. Can play ruck, forward and back.

Brad Dick is another bloke good off HB (AA 2/3 years I've had him) but steer well clear of N. Krakouer.
Think I looked at getting Gilbert in my 2nd season but I either got in 2nd to another club or they just wanted far too much. Think I got in A.Carlile and B.Reid as experienced key defenders instead. Carlile has been very solid but Benny Reid hasn't been anything to get too excited about. Solid but inconsistent first season but absolutely WOEFUL last season. Don't think he got any ratings out of the '0s', forcing me to trade him out this season. Having trouble developing anyone decent in that area so snagged Andy Otten from the overspending crows for him. Had an awesome season for them and am hoping for similar results when I start my new season

Reccomend playing a season as the Suns too :thumbsu: Its so fun and exciting developing a team of young stars. They're more than competitive early on and don't take long to develop into a force. Started with them after I quit my Port season 1-10 :p

Yeah, I also sim.

P.S playing as North in the year 2015 and my game just closes itself whenever i get to game day vs Collingwood?? any ideas that could help?

As I've said before, any glitches then just post the error code on the official PC website and they'll be happy to help. Sometimes I think the game just crashes though and the save data is buggered  Maybe try reloading the latest backup data and playing that whole season again.
Or you could just scrap the new season and play as the GC, problem solved ;)

I will definatly give GC a go some time soon but i need to win a flag with North first.

I had to go from being 18-3 in 2015 to starting the 2015 season over again. :(

Wow, that sucks!!! Your team must be pretty good though so I reckon you should be able to get yourself back up to a similar position :thumbsu: I had to do a pretty similar thing a while back. Spent all day playing it when I was sick and the game just randomly crashed about 15 rounds in  I was on fire (in the top 4) but ended up winning the flag from 8th in the end though

Yeah, I hate before the trade though, the stupid lodge list shit.

Yeah I agree, some things are still a bit tiresome and glitchy/hard to properly manipulate. For some reason I find trade week a little bit difficult as well.
However, I was astounded by the amount of improvement in making the game easier to manipulate this time. I expect a lot more of that in the next version too

First ever season I played on the 2011 version, I think I lost the first 10 games with port. Season is still yet to be completed...
