Wouldn't say Wingard is a 100 peak, more a 93-96, but that might be hard to get through to you ;) . Surely Patrick Cripps has got to have one of the best ones after this season.
umm yeah sure we can change Wingard's peak - he was 96 then i changed it to 100...... (not really gonna change it;)) got to have some bias in there.... Even though Wingard dominates on the game! Cripps is 98 - probs should be 100 - considering we have put Hogan at 100 - absolute gun!

Hi guys, I was a big fan of footy fanatic years ago. Did a bit of research into games this weekend, it's been 10 years since I played 1. Impressed with the lists you have done. I also liked premiership 2011 and TAR. Just curious have you or anyone been able to get 18 teams working in a career mode? I used to be in contact with the guy Adam who wrote footy fanatic, no idea where he is these days.

sadly, with the setup of the PC 2011 - you cant actually get all 18 teams in - we have made lists with GWS and used them in fantasy draft but that is as close as you cant get - even then these lists are only really good for about 4-5 seasons i think

Just had a super draft.
It's the 2039 national draft an I am coming off my 15th premiership. After having a least dominant season in some while (Not sure how I won it!) I decided to have a rebuild. I managed to obtain picks 1,2,3 in the draft as well as bidding my pick 17 for Maverick Wellers son Jeremy. My picks were as followed;

1. Trent Clewer - Ruckman 80-100
2. Ryan Duggan - Inside mid 79-99
3. Jose Biles - Tall Defender 79-97
17. Jeremy Weller - Tall Forward 76-100

I will update the progress of these four throughout their careers.

Do you get more realistic results playing or simulating the game?

I have always been a simmer with my stories. Playing the matches take way too long to play and I figured I can spend that time writing up a good piece rather then playing the game

Just finished the season, won the GF by 4 points. Completed the 3 peat with a total of 16.

Clewer had a injury riddled season playing 16 out of 25 games. His best game he managed 21 touches, 26 hit outs and a goal.
Duggan played every game averaging 21 touches. His best game he had a massive 36 touches annd 2 goals.
Jose Biles played 24 games before getting injured in the prelim and missed the GF. His best game he registered 14 touched.
Jeremy Weller played all 25 games kicking 47 goals and winning the rising star. Best game was 20 touches and 5.2.

Depends by what you means as realistic

Simming gives more realistic results sometimes. For example, using the Swans 2014 list simming, getting no injuries to my best 22 gave me a 13th place finish and 2 losses to the Saints by 4 goals. But my mids like Kennedy and Jack were getting 30+ touches a game.

When I play the game myself, I find myself winning more than not (and losing to teams I should lose to like Freo and Hawks away) but Tippett kicks up to 12 goals a game (beating the goals in a season record by 20), Jetta gets in the 50s (55kicks 3 hbs one game once) whilst Kennedy and Jack get 20 touches between them.

I prefer to play the games as I feel like I am actually coaching the team. Going small in the wet, playing fast, slowing down when leading and chasing back 4 goals in the last term to win by a point on the siren (**** you St Kilda!) is only something you can do when playing

Just letting everyone know about the task I have started myself which in itself is a huge task.

Have you ever played Premiership coach and been bothered that some of the greats of the game are retiring (in game) with only half the games they played compared to real life (Dustin Fletcher will retire after 244 games roughly instead of 400)
Well that's because all the stats were stopped with the game when it was created in 2011. So every player who has played since 2011 hasn't got their stats updated.
Not anymore, I am taking on the huge challenge of updating every player stats so their in game stats are equal to there real life ones.

For example below is Adelaide's Scott Thompson's stats in real life

And below is Scott Thompson's game stats

Only real trouble I encountered was the fact that since the game was created in 2011, I'm not able to make the stats for 2015,2014,2013,2012 and 2011. All those stats are counted as 2010,2009 ect.

I will make a table just so it's easier for people to understand

2015 stats are 2010 stats
2014 - 2009 stats
2013 - 2008 stats
2012 - 2007 stats
2011 - 2006 stats
2010 - 2005 stats
2009 - 2004 stats
2008 - 2003 stats
2007 - 2002 stats
2006 - 2001 stats
and so forth

I hope that is easy enough for people to understand, that way, the game stats are all up to date for 2015, yet the game itself will say its still in 2011.
That way guys like Scott Thompson will retire on 300+ games instead of 150+ and they can also be added into the club record holders.

If anyone has any information. Let me know and I can try to explain it more.

Hey guys,
my friends and I are working on some 2016 lists and would like your input to our preliminary ratings
Feedback is welcome and we are aiming to have these done by late Dec/Early Jan

Hey mate, looking good so far! Is it possible to see the peak ratings that you guys have done? As a Collingwood supporter I feel De Goey, Moore and Scharenberg should have peaks of around 90. Plus I don't think Swanny would be as low as 82. He still had a really good season this year.

Swans is much more accurate :) Good job

Agreed, but Buddy is ludicrously underrated. He's our best player. Tippett should probably be higher too imo.

what do u think about the draftees?
like Mills and Dunkley?

I like Mills. Would maybe give Weitering the same peak as him though? Dunkley looks good.

I argued about Tippett earlier but lost that one. Buddy should be higher I guess but age maybe?

Doesn't make a difference, in my opinion. He's still comfortably our best player when in form. Will deteriorate with age anyway. Surely he's at least a 90+, if not 95+. Think KPFs and KPDs are largely underrated for the most part. That's my key issue with these current ratings. A fair effort, nonetheless.

Mills is good. I like that. Maybe overall mid 70s instead of low?

Dunkley... i dont know more about. Probably low 70s peek mid 80s

fair enough, i will try and convince my friends to make the KPD and KPF ratings higher for some

Not a shot at you at all, mate. Appreciate the effort. I don't really use updated lists too much, but just thought I'd offer my two cents. :)
