I was talking to one of the players from the 63 premiership side on Sunday and did you know that we have 38 living premiership players? There are actually more players still alive from the 51/52 sides than the 63 side. Now the club recieves 1000 corporate tickets to the GF which they can choose to do whatever they like with (eg. sell at a huge profit, give away etc) Now, these living legends of our great club have to go in the ballot like everyone else, do you think the club could spare 38 tickets to these blokes should we make the GF this year? I reckon definately. Your thoughts??

Obviously Bobby Davis and other higher profile team mates would get a ticket but I reckon that does sound like a fair call to give em each a ticket to the game.

If you have won a grand final as a GFC player, you should be allocated 2 seats each.

We should look after all our past players, after all it has been 43 years.

It's very clear the club looks after our past greats. All you have to do is look at the sheer brilliance of the past players stand to know how high they are held in regard.

Well done board!

Bobby is a life member of the pivots gets free tickets. are these other players life members of the club ?
I know its sad but if they start giving ticket to some past players then others will bitch that they didnt get any.

Totally agreed that any past player from a premiership winning team should receive two free tickets, it is up to them whether they decide to use it or not.
