If you haven't watched sport on your phone at a wedding you haven't lived

Adjusting audio volume whilst you watch in the middle of speeches is to walk one of life’s great tightropes.
It’s amazing how many sports I suddenly become keen on watching when at a wedding

less confident about the result. (Unless we really uncover a few gems)
Don't worry about the result - preseason game in a development year. & we'll find some gems for sure this season - as we do every year.

I think we'll do better than most expect this year & surprise a fair few. But this game will tell us nothing.

Any chance Darling will run amok against us?
'by 12 bunbury bogans' - certainly plenty to choose from!

Midfield looks a bit thin missing Yeo, and Hewett, would have been nice to see Gross as well.
I’m very interested to see who they rotate through the midfield other than Kelly, Reid, Graham and Duggan.
Will Hutchinson, Long, Baker, Ginbey, Brockman rotate through there???

Hutch, Baker, Allan?

Those in the know - is Gross still carrying an injury? Ps. This side actually looks pretty freaking tight. We are so back here

He didn't play in the intraclub but in the latest training report from The West it said Gross re-joined training this week after being restricted with a lower leg injury.

I hope Hewett's alright and they're just giving him a mini break after playing two games in six days. This club is always sussy when it comes to giving it to us straight with 'soreness' issues.

I’m chill on Hewett although with his career so far and the talent he possesses I can totally understand the jumping at shadows when we hear he might be sore. Think it’s nothing and totally planned rest on this occasion though gut feel. Really like Gross, think he’ll play seniors this year, hoping he’s over the niggle and can debut early but not great he’s out completely it seems for tomorrow

Gross trained fully on Wednesday including the match sim. Don’t think there’s any ongoing issues there but with spots limited he probably doesn’t have the game minutes to justify playing him against North

Gavin Bell indicated on SEN on Tuesday with Duffield that he’d likely be doing something with the WAFL program. Didn’t specify what that was though

Bit stiff for Petch to miss out - decent preseason form the past 2 games.

Glad to see Grego in there!

Cole, Baker, Maric, Allan, Ginbey, Hough, Grego all named with Duggo and Hunt as well.

Similarly - Owies, Cripps, Long, Ryan, Brockman, Dewar, Hutch

Bit of an audition for the small/medium defenders and forwards.

Wish Hall and HJ were getting a crack but can't complain with the competition for spots!

You'd think the starting team would be pretty close to our round 1 side, bar Hewett and Allen.

Really wish they'd stop playing 2 rucks and just give Flynn a go on his own. We know what Bailey can do as a ruck by now, if Flynn sucks after all this just go into round 1 with Williams.
