Archer at this level without Oscar taking the best tall defender is what I am most looking forward to about this game. Hope he kicks a bag.

I personally think we need to temper expectations on Archer a little. Everyone seems keen to see the kid play.

He’s in his second season as a key fwd. Bags would be awesome but just competing and getting a couple wouldn’t be a bad result either.

It’s more just seeing him at this level that I’m looking forward to rather than his output. I’d be absolutely delighted with half a dozen kicks and a goal TBH.

I must admit I've yet to see Archer justify the hype. I go to a lot of training sessions and from what I've seen he goes alright but certainly nothing spectacular. I've seen lots of people suggesting letting Allen go to the lions we can just chuck A.Reid in his spot all good. Really doesn't seem a like for like at this stage.

Having said that I would be delighted to see him turn it on and make a real impact in this afternoon's game.

You'd think the starting team would be pretty close to our round 1 side, bar Hewett and Allen.

Really wish they'd stop playing 2 rucks and just give Flynn a go on his own. We know what Bailey can do as a ruck by now, if Flynn sucks after all this just go into round 1 with Williams.

It's good to see them side by side against the same opposition. We can see clearly who gets the round 1 spot.
