My point is this isn't the place for rolling score updates. That's what Twitter and certain scoreboard-based apps are for, and they work quite well. On matchdays, BF is for discussion and melting down. Instead of trying to get dozens of people to change their procedures for you, perhaps you can just change yours.

Actually I found the 6pr stream which I was listening too for updates of the score, if only Karl Langdon would just shut the hell up, but didn't know about it until about the second quarter, until that I was just getting my updates on Big footy, but for anyone that doesn't live in WA, for the future, streaming 6pr is a good alternative if you want commentary of the game.

Couldn't get 6PR last night on internet so followed the score on here. The most frustrating thing is yo' bitches won't post the score every time it changes. Happens every time. So please, during the match day thread, update the score every time it changes for the benefit of the posters who can't watch or listen to the game and are following it on here.

Maybe if you didn't carry on like such a pompous bellend and just state a simple I appreciate the game updates but it would be handy if you could give score updates when posting that'd be swell other posters might be a bit more receptive

I streamed this but they pissed about and then swapped to Graham Mayberry. The only other times I've ever had to use BF to follow a game is when I have been in the middle of nowhere and don't want to run my phone charge dry on streaming. It's those times when I've thought to myself "why don't the guys who are posting whilst watching tha game post the scores every time it changes, it's not as if people aren't asking".

Go check every single match day thread (you know, like 1 every week for the past 10+ years). All through them you can see posters (very very rarely it's me) asking politely to post the score without much success.

Why would I ask nicely? It doesn't work.

You know what the funny bit is:

I mean really, how do you expect me to think I'm not dealing with a bunch of narrow minded peanuts? Are people really that fragile they have to be spiteful to everyone to get at me?

You've known me for a long time. You should know I'm not concerned about any personal abuse. The frustrating thing for me is now people are going to go out of their way not to post score in spite of me. That's pretty ******ed considering I've needed it 3 times in 10 years and every single week there are others who want the score posted.

In light of every single week, people asking for score updates, do you think it's a good idea that standard practice for people posting on MDT is to post updated scores?
