Must say, he looks awesome there - definitely bigger in the upper torso.
Sincerely hope he cuts it up this year - must be his turn to really break out.
I hope you are right and he kills it this year, but i don't think his body is ever going to be where we want it (nohomo).

The trouble is he doesn't (and never will) have the build required (e.g. Kerr, Cousins) to compete physically with the taller blokes. The nuggety blokes make up for what they lack in height with trunk strength and a lower centre of gravity. If he were 2-3 inches taller this would be a non-issue.

This picture so perfectly sums up the situation described. Spud v Spud, and McGinnity (left) has just laid a blow on Lucas (right). Well done!
Interesting summary in the Sen Inside Footy paper (I Know, I know...I'm a tragic in off season). Describes Lucas as "runs like an AFL player, kicks it like a suburban one"

Lol at NN jumping on Lycetts head.

Might be the year NN sticks it up all his critics.
With you on that - and I expect that Lycett will flourish because the opposition sides will be obsessed in trying to stop NicNat and leave Lycett free.

From what I saw at training yesterday, I know many suburban players who would of hit more targets than many of our players in some of those drills. ;)

Lycett looked good yesterday. He looks like a huge unit and it seems his confidence has risen with being one of our main ruck options. He monstered Brown a few times up forward yesterday in one on one contests and took some great grabs.

The weight stats on Footywire (which I'd say are 1-2 years old) have Scotty at 98kg, but he is now listed at 103kg on the WC website.

The kid is becoming a beast no doubt and, what's better, he loves to throw his weight around.
Always wanted the Q stick to do that. Body of a wrecking ball, mind of cotton wool.

Dean Cox was down at the Western Bulldogs training session yesterday watching them train according to the WB board. Getting in early for round 1!

We couldn't afford to send a better spy than a pretty recognizable 204cm guy with a large nose?
