And that’s me done for preseason

Probably the best conditioning I’ve seen the squad in since I’ve been attending training.

There’s a bit to look forward to this season albeit we’ll lose more than we win and there’ll be the occasional shellacking when things come completely unstuck

Stay positive, take the good with the bad as the players learn the new game plan and Mini identifies what he has to work with. Some will thrive, others will fall away but one thing I’m sure of is that the effort and desire to compete and improve will be there

This season Graham has had

• Career high avg disposals.
• Career high avg clearances.
• Career high avg tackles.

Of the team this season he averaged

• #1 for tackles
• #1 for stoppage clearances
• #2 for total clearances
• #3 for contested possessions

That shows how dire our midfield was that grahams come in having never been a permanent mid and putting up those numbers .

I would complain too as you don't have to pay tax on lottery winnings (in Australia)

The best thing about Baker and Graham coming into the team is they showed our pathetic senior players what intent and attack on the footy should look like. Hopefully the young blokes learn from them and not the lazy campaigners that have been cruising around picking up paycheques for the last 5 years.
