The Darcy Willmott legend begins. Rubbed out in his first game:) Gunna play a lot of footy for us.
Technically before his debut even. First player to have more games suspended than played?

At someone else watch’s the dams as well. It’s not Wivenhoe they’re worried about. Somerset releases into Wivenhoe. Somerset over 100% this morning and Wivenhoe at 87.7%. That’s even with release overnight. Rain may stop today may stop tomorrow, but water will keep running from catchment areas into the dams over the next week or so pushing both numbers higher, hence the release.

Good thing they did the releases - kicking off the low level sustained releases earlier could easily have been the difference between this topping out at 3.8m versus beating the 2011 level if they had to release a lot in a hurry like last time.

Would assume it is his first ressies game, if not the A grade.
The VFL starts a week later so if we want him in consideration for the Seniors, the earlier he serves the penalty the better.

huge standout for me was the ruck work and follow ups by Darcy Fort. For me he's no1 ruck.......by a fair way. Oscar was still caught behind on boundary throw ins, something I would have thought the ruck coach would have corrected by now. Anyway that's a plus because it gives Oscar time at FF.

I had him in there in October. I was assuming Starce to mf (fagan mentioned but seemingly has died off as an idea!) and wasn't sure if Answerth fit. Now that both of them are playing backline it gets hard. Rich is a lock so it's either Kiddy or Madden. Great problem to have as our backline looks so fast now. I think it could be a huge boost in how we move the ball. In particular in our kick outs, we got so predictable in them but with young fast players zipping around there should be some good 35m to 40m pass options which i think are the most effective way to get through defensive set ups.
Perhaps we can give the old fella a few rests thru the long season to freshen up that left leg.

Yeah a yearly problem of Oscar behind at throw ins....u would think the coach would eliminate that weakness.
