Following of from Pav's ascension to the AFL Players Association throne comes news that Simon Lloyd has won a position in the level four coaching program.

Lloyd, the brother of Essendon great Matthew, was a surprise winner, for he is the only candidate to not have played at the top level. He has impressed during stints under Mick Malthouse and Ross Lyon – he is the Dockers' senior development coach and an assistant coach – and has ambitions to claim a top role.
