Some, like me, reckon that this can be a GOOD thing, that the White House can't respond quickly, that it can't do what it wants anymore.

Russia and China aren't beacons of freedom by any stretch, but in the absence of any truly benevolent Great Power it is vitally important that they each are powerful enough to hold one another in check against that special kind of unilateralism that sees other nations get invaded and/or their interior workings meddled with.

Perhaps it would be better put, by noting how both Russia & China attempt to follow the resolutions of international law as set out by the U.N; Whereas the U.S, on the other hand, just ignore them & ride roughshod over most of them, both illegally & unconstitutionally.....Still no war crimes tribunals though for all the s**t they've pulled since the end of the Second World war.

My comment was in response to your claim that we should "just see what happens". We've been seeing that for over 18 months (more if you include the lead up to his inauguration when Russian revelations and poor choices for his administration were being made, and of course his election campaign was indicative too).

His tax cuts & incentives for business have improved the economy as per several measures, but no economic indicator is all that different to when Obama was in charge. Largely trends have been maintained from Obama's Presidency. The stock market got excited due to the tax cuts but has now been subdued by Trump's trade war. Given how much the tax cuts and incentives have potentially cost the USA in revenue, Republicans will be hoping that they economy picks up far more than it has. Wage stagnation is a major sticking point, and the US has a very low minimum wage which is why they have 'the working poor' (people who have jobs, even multiple jobs, but still struggle to make ends meet). Voters know well that their pay packets haven't improved so that could cost them at the polls.

Do a search on the British nuclear reactors being decommisioned.

The costs are astronomical and the time for completion continually put back. It's billions per plant. Have a look at how many nukes in operation in France and consider the cost to devommisioned these. Consider Assad could of supplied electricity at a fraction of the costs these nukes currently do

When the nukes go broke. Who pays for the clean up. They have to be cleaned up. If not the whole country is in danger of being a pripyat or Fukushima. There is a law industry in every town a nuke is facilating the cancer and child defects that are spiked in these towns

Trump has already claimed a number of times that he had made America great again. He's even announced his 2020 slogan 'Keep America Great!'. Politicians, unsurprisingly, and patriotic citizens proclaimed America great. Outlets like Fox News tap into that sentiment, but you'd have to go a long way back into history to find out who was the first to proclaim it 'great', even though every country has flaws.

Such ridiculous hubris has obviously worked for him in the past, but given he hasn't changed much this might be his biggest rhetorical mistake in trying to get re-elected. People thought he would do something more substantial than just repeating Republican policies of the past. Even his claims that he is already building the wall aren't really true, as the work being done is apparently planned by Obama. There isn't any 'wall' being built that is like he has advertised. He should lose heavily in the mid-terms, and could be impeached before getting a chance to run in 2020 (or quit if doing a deal that gets the investigation stopped). He would very likely lose anyway in 2020, but I didn't think he'd win in 2016. This time the TRussian propaganda online shouldn't work as well.
