Yep. Was getting a bit sad watching Sheeds though. Loved how he was still joking around.

Contrary to reports (by that fool Hutchy), the final decision to not renew Sheedy's contract was made yesterday, not Monday night.

I didn't read anything negative into that. I thought he was just drawing a comparison with his plumbing career. He also said how much he loved coaching the club.

I watched the press conference today on Sky News and want to say well done to Sheeds, Peter Jackson and Essendon. It was another example of how professional your club and Sheedy are.
Anyone watching that presser and coming away with the thought that Sheedy was sacked has no idea. You don't start talking about how you are going to retire on the 31st of January and call that a sacking.
I look forward to the Kevin Sheedy Magical Mystery Retirement Tour to take off over the next six weeks or longer if you make the finals. With Essendon playing Carlton, Hawthorn, Richmond and their rd 22 game at Subi vs the West Coast, I expect Sheeds to put the full marketing vehicle into overdrive.
