This guy plays well week in week out hardly gets beaten and doesnt get all the praise he deserves, if you've been watching him this season he has been playing with a sore wrist look at the tape and guard on it, in any of the replays.

This season he has actually been getting some of the ball and showing some attacking 'Flair' (he is hitting a collingwood player by foot), he would have to be in the top 20 full backs in the comp.

Even in our bad years he treid his arse off and showed want it meant to be a Collinwood player.

N.B If you cant tell im a Presti fan just wanted him to get praise i think he deserves.

Has been a great servant for the club and in past years has been in the top 5. This season though I think he's starting to show a few signs that age is catching up with him. His kicking has been poor in the games I've seen and he just seems to have a few more niggles.

But having said that, he still does his role every week which is stopping his opponent from kicking goals, so I can't ask for anything more.

anyone can be great in a single season, woewodin for example, he won a brownlow medal, was traded, and then delisted - its the consistent players that are the greats - compared to presti, gaspar is terrible, rather, compared to anyone gaspar is terrible

Gaspar was the best full back in the league for 3 years.

Woewodin was also a good player before he went to Collingwood...not the only one!

How can you compare Presti with an All Aussie and a Brownlow winner?

I may as well compare Jayson Daniels with Buckley

Presti has been one of the best full backs for a good part of 5 years. Much more consistant. Barry is a more dynamic player but until 2002 or so he was just a sideshow IMO, and I would hardly call him a 'stopper'. Hay has had one good season. Martyn and Presti.... wouldn't be much between them. Rutten has had 2 good seasons. The rest I would give you. And anyway the original poster wasn't exactly saying he would easily be one of the best 10 in the last 10 years.

Was good for a time at Collingwood too but always slow and soft.
