Freo have 3 talls - Treacy, Amiss and Voss, so we need 3 to match. Only issue is that both Treacy and Voss are mobile, and our 3 talls aren't exactly that.

EDIT: Esava out apparently.. ouch
We're screwed either way. Burton or Evans will have to play taller on Amiss. I think BZT will go on Voss and Allir goes on Treacy.

If JHF, Jones, Esava, Burton and Sinn out... Id bring BZT in, throw Jezza down back (yes, he wasn't all that flash in round 1) and rotate DBJ through the backline. Keep Bergs on ball. Have Ratkins as sub and bring Jackson in. Yeah that's a young side, probably the youngest side in the league this round. But not much other options. No other defenders and just give these younger ones a big crack. Use Ratkins if defence getting smashed being too tall or too slow.. if Jezza playing bad take him off or if Lord is mediocre up forward take him off and throw Jezza up forward and switch Bergs back into defence. They'll rotate SPP through the guts and touch wood Jackson gets a go at it with Lorenz and Morase getting more time on wing experience. touch wood if those two can play wing then over the next pre season get their fitness up massively.

FB JEZZA BZT ALIIR
HB BURGOYNE ROZEE EVANS
C MORASE WINES LORENZ
HF RICHARDS GEORGIADES MEAD
FF RIOLI LORD SPP
FOLL VISINTINI BUTTERS BERGMAN

INT BERRY DBJ DREW JACKSON

SUB RATKINS

If Visintini resting then use Wines as ruck... he's gotten better and was used as ruck against Jackson last year fine if I remember.

Jackson for Horne-Francis
Zerk-Thatcher for Ratugolea
Lorenz for Sinn; Lorenz to play wing, Burgoyne down back
Jones for Berry
I've got no idea, is Lai ready for Burton. Maybe Dyl Will.
You may as well throw Whitlock in there for Lord.

Seems to happen to us more often than it should. Feels like the medical department are too comfortable in their role. Need a thorough review of all the backroom staff and coaching staff etc etc.

Anyone that thinks just swapping out Hinkley will fix the problem is delusional. In fact, if we don't sort out the rest, we will probably go backwards.
Getting rid of Hinkley isn't going to fix anything, but we can't start fixing anything until he is gone. Sacking him is the first step on the path back to sanity.

This is going to sound extreme, but this game could be a sliding doors moment that we look back on as one of the most crucial in our AFL history.

Lose by enough and we reset and get a chance to start fixing the pieces with Carr. A close loss or worst possible scenario a win could set the club back a decade or more.

You could say the same about quite a lot of games.

This one will be no different.
