To be fair, it is not the 80s anymore and rucks like Rob just aren't acceptable. Last night he went for a mark in a contest, missed it and walked forward, not looking back. Sad thing was, the ball was spilled ( and to be fair, there was no *ing way Rob was getting a ****ing ball off the ground without a twenty minute head start) but his opponent was able to pick the ball up under no pressure because his opponent (Rob) wouldn't turn, the *, around.

Yeah, saw that, terrible non-second effort.

People can keep saying McAndrew or Strachan are not the answer but the simple fact is Rob isn't either and we need to stop using him as a crutch. Just stop playing the guy, he is a huge liability at AFL level.

Strachan is too strachany, er, scrawny and was absolutely monstered by Richmond's Nankervis last year.

If McAndrew has the tank, givim a go.

You know when something kinda prickles your brain when you read it and you go, "Hang on ..."?
I thought about the sentence in bold which made me think of those players with elite skills who were "quiet achievers" <== which I considered to be unassuming characters with elite skills.
I am often quite literal, in that way .
It gets me into trouble sometimes when I miss a subltety, or double-meaning.

And not one of those players were/are 'quiet achievers'. And Cumming should not be spoken of in the same sentence with those blokes.

Out Laird in Bond or Jones
Out Milera in Butts
Out ROB in McAndrew
Out Crouch in Taylor
Out Sholl (Curtin to wing) in Dowling
Sub Jones, Schoey or Pedlar

Assuming there is an unforced change, I'd bet at evens it'd be Sholl out and Taylor in and a new sub. Or Curtin or Draper to sub.

ROB won’t get dropped despite his best efforts to make it happen. Milera was great on Thursday night, surely that put the Milera hate to rest?

Crouch was fine, not his best but better than our other mids who were well off.

When other ruckman around the league are getting 15 possessions and can actually kick, handball and mark, we are effectively playing a player down when ROB has back to back 5 disposal games and you don’t want him getting the ball anyway.

If we are half serious he has to be dropped. I reckon he will be.

1 good game in 5 isn’t close to good enough, overall, he’s still an out until he’s going that 4 weeks in 5. Jones was good as small defender, we need them, so he’d be a chance in that role if Bond isn’t preferred. And the sub needs to be a mid type and we’re starting to run out, Schoey had decent preseason and is on last chance saloon. Better him than crab crouch.

Hard to believe O’Brien fell over 12 times and displayed the football skills of someone who has literally never played the game in their life. Oh wait, no it’s not.

Hard to believe that Nicks got his pants pulled down in the box by Scott, despite Geelong missing their best player, best 2 defenders and having a midfield that is among the worst in the entire AFL. Oh wait, no it’s not.




A club full of born losers who prefer to sniff their own farts than win a hard ball or do anything that resembles putting together a season worthy of playing finals.

The one thing that genuinely floored me was how utterly pathetic the trio of Soligo, Dawson and Crouch were. How we ever got to 30 pts up with these guys standing there watching their opponents waltz around, combined with them ****ing up every single kick they had was baffling beyond belief.

The panic merchants in defence didn’t surprise me at all.

As previously mentioned, anyone surprised by the puke served up by ROB or Sholl just doesn’t watch or understand football.
