There's some obvious ones, I don't think we need to rehash Rob too much but we can't continue playing 17 men on the field and expect to beat the best sides. If McAndrew is too green, then play freaking Butts or Borlase in the ruck. Or anyone vaguely familiar with executing the skills of football.

It's glaringly obvious that Sholl isn't up to high octane games. Or even medium octane games really. Even his 25 possessions against the bottom teams are bland. He won't stand up in the heat of finals so let's stop wasting our time and put a line through him now.

With Murray out, we have to play Butts. If Hogan plays on Keane or Worrell, he'll kick 10. Playing only interceptors and no actual key defenders was foolish and a large reason we lost. If they're going to continue to leave Butts out, I think we need to know why. Thought Keane was good today, gave up some goals but he should be on the least threatening tall/mid size forward. If he's taking a bunch of intercept marks and getting 500 metres gained like he did last night, that's what he's in the side for. If we're playing him as a lockdown defender, we're doing it wrong. Horribly wrong.


Need an actual small forward, not a spare mid. Pity we don't have one. I like Taylor as a player, maybe he's that guy in a pinch. It's not Murphy, Draper, Berry or Pedlar. Not that role. Who knows but we've been down this road before and it doesn't work to just throw in a random midfielder who doesn't have that skillset. Try something new, Milera, Bond? How do we have a list of 44 and 1 small forward?! And he wants to be a mid. None of it makes sense.

Understand the need to get games into Curtin and Draper but we really need to win at least one of the next two games. Neither look comfortable or effective forward, I'd get one up around the ball and one probably to sub.

Would prefer to get Hinge bit further out of defence until he can get rid of this sudden fit of wild mistakes. Had a few howlers last week too. I like him and Cumming delivering into the forward line anyway.
