I hope he channels his sub game v Carlton last season. Had a blinder of a qtr and virtually won the game for us.
We need to be getting games across to Pedlar (other clubs sniffing), Dowling, Edwards and Ryan and then the next level of Bond, Schoenberg, Cook, Edwards, Jones.

Laird and Milera in the back 6 makes me nervous. Would like to see one of them replaced by Bond (and the other replaced by Ryan). Rob has to lift, offers zero. Interesting to see what Berry can bring. If he can master over his fumbles and dodgey disposals he will be a long term player for us. Great to have Murray back as the defence looks so much stronger when he’s in.
Im happy with those changes. Berry is a good in. Had a down year but he knows how to find the footy, just needs to stop fumbling it and all of a sudden he will be a 10 possession a game better player. Sholl to me is just a player who is just not big enough to play high pressure football.
Ryan will get games this year. Ive heard how rated he is so its only a matter of time. Guys like Milera and Laird will need to be at their best because thats what competition for spots does. If we lose yet again this week, we may very well see guys like Bond and Ryan come in as changes occur to remove under performing players.

We should be rotating more of the squad, particularly when we play 3 games close together... but our selectors have proven they are not smart enough... so we lose the 2 games instead & don't develop depth.
And what do you suggest tiger???
Keeping Laird plodding and f*king up in the backline stat padding, Milera until last week being meh, ROB continuing as a liability

So, Taylor wins a spot in the best 22 (I didn't give him props on the weekend, but was happy with his game) and we've pulled the trigger on Curtin being a winger with Sholl out.
I'm certainly intrigued with these selections, and that we were seemingly quick to pull the trigger on the four key forwards. Berry as a sub is ok, he's at least shown he can have a good game off it.
Could be a big week for Adelaide's long term, especially if Curtin lights up on a wing.

So is our team to be fair. Curtin, Thillthorpe, Fogarty, Rankine, Draper, and Max all first round picks. Then Soligo and Dawson who play like they're first rounders.
Rachele is proving to be a really big out for us, as we are weak in small forwards
