Not the point. Point is, he got one game this year then dropped. Sholl has been gifted three (the first two he earned). Whether it’s Nicks pulling the strings or someone else is irrelevant at this point… the strings ARE being pulled.

I see what you're saying and agree each player should have the same treatment but that's not the case

Bottom line is they have more significant outs than us, coming off a smaller break & we are at home.

If we don't win tomorrow, it's unlikely we play finals.

GWS are a quality side, but we need to win these games.

Nicks may as well start looking for a new job if we lose.

Just thinking that we should be playing Berry and possibly Captain on the HF line to add that tackling intensity up forward. Draper just not there yet and Taylor is wasted there.

I see Jones got 10 tackles in the SANFL, we need that pressure in the AFL squad mindset

If can't beat genuine sides with key players out, no point falling into Finals anyway.

That is just dumb thinking.

We have a list that is devoid of finals experience - only Walker, Crouch, Laird, Cumming, Peatling, ANB have played in a winning final. And then only Dawson has played in losing final.

We need to get Rachele, Soligo, TT, FOG, Murray, Draper, Curtin a taste.

This is the season to go all in on sneaking into the 8. Our list is far too good to finish bottom 6.

I think you have to give “some” leeway to players who have earned their spot (like Sholl had over the first two and final few last year) as opposed to Murphy who made no impact when he was bought in (pretty much ever). It made sense he was dropped off the back of a shocker.

I think you can make that point on a player like Smith who’s form went off a cliff but had a been a really good player over a number of years and had earnt some more leeway, but IMO Sholl hasn’t earnt anywhere near the same level.
